Anyone know where I can get one for cheaper than $200?
while not on sale, circuit city is offering a deal this week where you get two free HD DVDs of your choice when you buy a 360 HD DVD Drive...and since HD-DVDs generally run $20-30 each, that's not a bad deal.

this week at circuit city its 200 and you get two free hd dvd movies worth 60 bucks. As well as the copy of king kong free. Would save you like 70 bucks.

let's not forget the $40 off a total purchase of $199 or more coupon that is floating around CAG somewhere

yea, but id rather pay 200 for the player and two movies rather than pay 160 for the player w/o movies. Cant combine offers.

Just as an FYI, I just picked up the player and the 2 free dvd's at CC using the deal and the $40 off coupon. Here is what happened:
Had the clerk come over and told him I wanted the player so he took it out of the locked case and took it over to the checkout in the DVD department. I gave the guy the coupon once he rung everything up and he tells me that they couldn't combine a coupon with the $199 HDDVD deal, but he said he would send me up to the cust serv. desk to make sure. So I head up there and the CS Manager rings it up, scans the coupon and it comes up as accepted. So I go to pay all of a sudden the total is like over $200 again, (im guessing that you might not be able to combine these two deals like the original clerk all the time but I think YMMV based on the rest of my story). So I just say to the guy that I wasn't going to buy it then if the coupon wasn't accepted. So the guy was really nice, he went in and entered the $40 off manually and I got the HDDVD player and 2 DVD's for around $170 including Tax! So I guess some people might just get it to work automatically and some might have to do a little bit of a sell job. Actually it was funny because when I first was rung up and it came out to the origial price the manager called over someone in the back and showed him the price and was like "wow this is a really great deal!"
I suggest printing out the coupons on some heavy grade paper in color and running down to CC since this deal ends today!
