I want!
Maybe we can get like 100 members to pitch in a $100 or so a piece and we could split the comics. :P

Check your math. The bid is already ~200,000 > 10,000 = 100 x 100

Why the hell would I check my math? I was hoping you guys would of known what I meant, so I didn't bother to go check the bid price again.

Why would someone have so many copies of Wolverine #1? Boggles the mind.
I do think its interesting that it's Superman #1, not Action Comics. Now that would be a find!

holy crap and i thought the collection i just aquired for $150 and worth 7 grand was a good find.
His buy it now price was 250k and its up to 200 with 45 bids.
There is definitley a huge profit to be made from emailing this seller and getting him to end the auction and part with it for the buy it now price.
If this whole collection was CGC'd and brought to a private auction house like heritage, sotherbys, christys, he could garner an easy price of over 1mill. I'm about to remortgage, take the cash, buy the collection, and exploit this to the full potential that it could but most people don't understand.

Re-reading it I realize that not only does he have a ton of the early 'crown jewel' books, he also throws in the entire run of a few series! Every Amazing Spider-Man? MOTHER!

its not the most valuable superman #1 action comics one is I believe and I think the original batman are in the detective series or something along those lines. Same with spidey, he appeared in someone else first. Or something along those lines

Spider-Man first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15, and this auction includes two (low grade) copies of said issue.

Gah, I'll be happy if I can just piece together a full run of the Marvel G.I. Joe series for a reasonable price.

Thats crazy. Its even more crazy that they're in such good shape. My dads Spiderman comics aren't that good looking. I have a Wolverine #1 and 2, but I don't think its worth much.

Are these prices actually accurate. I used to have 1-about 50 years ago before I traded them off. I think I'm left with a few strays and I know I have the last one, #155. Those prices look rediculously high.
*EDIT* I got a gem on my hand here with issue 155!!!!! I never even knew until now.

I wonder how E-bay is going to feel if they notice he used an illegal buy-it-now to cheat them out of a large amount of closing fees...

The last issue of GI Joe is the only issue I own.
Unless you count that couple of issues of the GI Joe-Transformers crossover.

i bet the person who bought this is a dealer or store owner (milehighcomics?) who does plan on re-selling them to their full potential.

He had a Buy It Now offer in the description but the option was not available. Once someone contacted him and offered the Buy It Now price, he cancelled the auction, then supposedly set up another auction with the Buy It Now enabled so the buyer could use it.
I thought Buy It Now was only supposed to be available on auctions where there are no bids yet, but I could be wrong.

The two most expensive comics I own is the first apperance of Ghost Rider (The original Johnny Blaze one) which is in perfect condition.
And X-Men #14 the first apperance of The Sentenials which is in good condition.
