View Full Version : Allow me to tell you about my CC experience today...

Well I don't wanna sound like I'm bitching...aww fuck it. So I went to my CC here in Orlando, FL. The main reason I went there was to pick up a copy of DOA 2 Hardcore for $15 after GGC. So when I go to ring up I was like "CC accepts competitor's coupons, right" and he agrees. So I bust out the $5 dollar off coupon and the guy is like "Oh not those coupons. I meant the ones for CD's and music" :shock: Then he says besides we don't know how much the coupon is worth. It freakin says $5 dollars off. Anyway I decided to look around for stray $4.99 games. Nothing much except for Tekken 3, Morrowind, Summer Heat BV. So I go to ring up at customer service and I ask the lady to peel the sticker over the UPC b/c they weren't ringing up at $4.99. She says something like it's against corporate orders or some BS like that and that the games were 14.99 and up even tho some were in the actual $4.99 bin on Sunday. So I start complaining and she goes to the back. After a while she comes out and is like "Oh I can give you SH BV for $4.99 and that's it." I'm so annoyed by that point that I'm like fuck it I'll take it. I look around again (I'm stubborn like that) and find a sales associate. He was real cool and searched the computer for $4.99 games (Unlike this other bitch that said CC's computers are not "sophisticated to sort by price") I see MD Deadly Alliance for 1 penny! I try to get it but the guy told me he was new and had to refer me to someone else. And who do you think he referred me to? Yea that woman I spoke with earlier. She goes on to tell me she can't sell it to me for a cent b/c it's probably for some "upcoming promotion." Ya now people will be buying assloads of Xboxes b/c of free MK:Da!!!!!!!! By that time I was so pissed and just left. I guess this is their revenge for CAG's finding out about the sale early.

I only got to talk to a sales manager roaming the store. I asked the associates at customer service to talk to their store manager but they were being dicks and took their sweet time so I was like fuck it.

Yes, really. They wouldn't match your coupon AND they wouldn't sell you the games that everyone else got for $0.01 to $4.99.

Contact the regional office. If the person isn't on great standing, they could get fired. Did you get the woman's name? Also, you shouldn't have bough Summer Heat Beach Volleyball. You're doing them a favor. You should have told her to cancel the entire purchase if they're not going to give you everything at the right price.

No, I haven't tried it yet. Aside from this sale, I haven't really found anything there I wanted that I couldn't get for $5 less or shipped free to my house through some other avenue.
