So I finally popped this into the Xbox today to give it a try. I've heard good things about it and I've heard it was like Dynasty Warriors and a RTS combined. I've only played 30 minutes of it, but sadly I'm not hooked (yet). Should I keep going (I probably will anyway)? What did you guys think about it?

i loved the first, but this one....was waaay too hard for me :( unless you do the correct combinations from the very beginning, you're pretty much screwed, especially with the addition of the supercharged elemental monsters..that just killed the game for me :(
hopefully you'll have much better luck than me since i loved the first and loved this one..even though i couldnt get past the first few hours

Hard as hell is right, you screw up one part of your strategy and you might as well call it a day .

Yeah, KUF: Heroes basically left off where the first game ended, which means incredibly hard and long battles. It is fun though, and satisfying when you complete a grueling campaign.

I beat Crusaders and loved every minute of it (well, actually the last two levels involved a whole lot of swearing and replay -- why was I fighting aliens, or whatever, again?). But with that said, I love games that challenge the hell out of you. It's a beautiful tactical game -- all RPG and development elements are between battles. To this day, KUF: Crusaders is the only game I bought the first day it came out.

I own Heroes, but I just havent really had a chance to get back into it. If you don't like the gameplay right away, I doubt it will get much better for you. It just gets harder.

I still haven't passed the last level, since it's two parts, it's like ten days long.

I'm a big fan of the KUF games. They are the type of games that Dynasty Warriors should be like.
