View Full Version : What are some good game trading sites?

I think I've exhausted all possible trades at GTZ and TGN (and CAG for that matter). What are some other, good trading sites? I've been meaning to try out Goozex but not sure how that works out (or if it's a good site).
In the past year, I've gotten crappy offers galore besides a few good trades. Every time I send out an offer on that site, I either don't get a response or get bitched at by people about the supposed value of the game I wanted and why mine isn't worth shit. Or I'll get really bad offers though granted, I don't always check eBay values on stuff I want so I've made some too.

Other than sayswap (http://www.sayswap.com/), you've covered all the ones I know about.
sayswap is OK, but I keep getting bum senders who never send anything.
I really thought TGN had it together, but lots of hassles if you don't offer eBay prices.

I had very limited success with Sayswap. It's supposed to be a points based system (similar to Goozex), but trading tokens are $5 a pop, and most people only go for 1:1 trades.
Goozex, on the other hand, I can't recommend highly enough. I've had many great experiences with them. Basically how it works is you create a list of your Haves and your Wants. Each game has a point value: when one of your Haves is requested, you send that game out and receive the point value into your account. These points in your account are then spent on games on your Want list as they become available from other users. It takes away the challenge of the 'barter' system.
Trade tokens on Goozex only cost $1, and you can also buy points if you want to add to your account without sending a game.

Hm... that's a fairly interesting concept for Goozex.
The only thing that bothers me is the $1 per trade thing. But I might give it a try anyway.

I recommend Goozex too. You can get great deals there even with $1 a trade. Once in a while they will have free trade promos too. It's been the only trading site I've been using recently.
It's a good way to get rid of games you can't seem to trade anywhere else, and use those points for something you want.

I've been using Goozex alot lately, too. I got a sweet prize pack from them for joining, got some top-notch games from other users (SMT: Nocturne, Tales of the Abyss), and unloaded a lot of games that just aren't selling for the price I'd like to get. I've had a great time all around. If it sounds interesting, you can use me as a referral. Free trades for both of us and they'll spot you 100 points to start using. Here's my link if you like:http://www.goozex.com/trading/asp/join.asp?idr=4432213983
Last I checked, they also run monthly contests for new signups through CAG. I think the promo code is CAG-2007 or something like that (check the thread). You can get some real nice prize packs if you're lucky.
