Snagged a few deals today...
Went to the local thrift shop and found Cooking Mama for the DS for $1.00 factory sealed!!! (After I took the picture I opened it just to be sure)
Then I went to Big Lots and snagged Darwinia (PC) for $3.99 and Psychonauts (PC) for $6.00 plus they gave me a 10% discount at the register for being military...

Decent buy, the PC games are about the same price everywhere else, buy Cooking Mama for $1 is a greeat price. Do you know if that is the price for all of them?

Well then, I think your thrift store employees had best come here and teach our thrift store employees what THRIFT is supposed to mean. When they have well used(read: STAINED) couches that people donate and try to sell them for $149, thrift is the farthest word from my mind. Ripoff, on the other hand, might be more appropriate in that case.
ANYTHING gaming related gets relegated to a glass case that you have to usually ASK to see things out of(much like Kmart) and most of the time, it's just 20 copies of Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for NES. When it IS something good, the Ebayers and hoarders quickly swoop in and snap it up at whatever price.
Good find though, I wish our local Salvation Army stores got in some decent stuff like that, but they usually get crap that people should've 'donated' to the garbage truck but decided to be charitable and toss to Salvation Army.

I picked up Fable (xbox) for $4.38 after a 20% discount from a local store. Worth it for me!
I also found XB360 Component Cables for $14.99 which made me very happy.
