I haven't played my Gamegear in a while but the games I remember that I thought were fun were Lillahammer Olympics '94, World Series Baseball and Sonic 2.

There is no way to save in Sonic unfortunately. Not sure about the Lion King but if it's like the SNES version, you can't save in that either

You need to buy LOTS of batteries. Those AA's fly by like crazy, or at least make sure you have an ac adaptor for it.

Ya, and when an OLD handheld has a BIGGER screen then the NEW handhelds, it definitely eats through those batteries! Even though it runs on 6 AT A TIME! Crap man, I never really played that thing unless I plugged it into a wall, it was a monster.
Fun Games:
Shinobi
Power Rangers
Sonic 2
NOT CHUCK ROCK! (HORRIFIC GAME!)
can't remember anymore

I used to love Halley Wars on the GG. It's a vertically scrolling shoot em up just like Halley's Comet in the arcades. Not sure if it was released in the US but if it was I would say to get it if you find it.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this, but Columns! Its a pretty fun and simple game like Tetris, but colorful. I recommend Sonic as well, I'd always play that on my friend's GG.
