Hey.. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this; it's weird (I have tried this with every game, and the time frame is still identical).
I'll plug in a disc. It reads correctly, I can start up the game, and the data from my memory card gets loaded. I've timed this.. thrice now. Each time, after exactly 15 minutes of gameplay, the GameCube comes up with a DRE. The fan is still spinning, the top is closed, the disc is correctly sitting inside of the tray, and the lens is clean. All cords and cables are plugged in correctly, and there are no crossed wires. I'm using official Nintendo liscensed equipment (the controller, the memory card, etc), and a standard controller (I figured it might be a power shortage problem if I used the WaveBird controller, but, it still errors out the same).
This isn't a joke. 15 minutes flat... every time. Anyone have ANY ideas?
My hunch, is that it's a ventilation issue. But, the fan runs fine, and everything.
