Deals on CNC3 or BF2142?

Anyone have any CAG deals for CNC3 or BF2142? I have a non-CAG friend who wants to get them, and I'm the "translator" for him, if you will. Anyone have 'em and wanna get rid of 'em?

BF2142's price dropped to $30 in most B&M stores and it goes for $26 at Amazon. Hopefully your friend doesn't mind the 2.5/5 star rating it has at the moment...

Seems as though it's just a skinned BF2. And I'm getting BF2 already... so.... I'll pass on it. But CNC3... damn, it was $10 preorder. No idea why I didn't get it. Do you think it'll price drop soon?

Well, it's just a one week sale, but still, it is pretty awesome.

It has a ton of players too so it's not going anywhere for awhile, I think.

Block a series of ports through your firewall. Google it for what port numbers.


I did that, and I've *never* seen an in-game ad.

Well, what about the spywares problem? Don't they still search up on your computer? Or does the port-block method stop not only the ad-server, but also the spywares?

I was under the impression that people called the ads "spyware," somewhat as a misnomer. But I'd like to know if the EA bastards put real spyware in the game.

p.s. Amen to port blocking. Kill in-game ads before they spread to more games!

I'm gonna avoid 2142 until it costs $10 or something. Don't feel like supporting DiCE at all anymore after how crappy BF2 runs even after all this time.
