"Substance TV" is a video game review show I edit, produce, voice, and do everything else for. There are four episodes up as of now with more on the way. Let me know what you think of the episode by posting comments on You Tube or here in this thread. Enjoy the show!

I've only watched the first episode, but the sound is muffled in certain areas, and some of the timing could be better. For example, when talking about Urban Reign, you mentioned that it was developed by the same team behind Soul Calibur and Tekken. But the video screen already shows the shot of Marshall Law and Paul Phoenix long before you mention it, and undermines this interesting little tidbit. You'd also benefit from exercising more brevity; that segment "when you first start playing the game, you're gonna see a lot of this" - cue KO screen - almost doesn't work because the second screen is totally unnecessary, not to mention that it's hard to make out what's happening. The first screen is funny, but it only works in the first place because your character is screaming, spinning through the air, and it catches the viewer off guard.
Getting to Einhander, it sounds like you stepped away from the microphone as soon as you started talking about the ships. I'd also argue that hardly anyone watching a video game review show about older games would complain that it's not an "Xbox 360 uber-graphical title". On the contrary, I was actually surprised that the PS1 was capable of producing those visuals, having never played the game myself. It looks nifty, and I'll have to thank you for the recommendation.
The show's pretty good all in all, but no better or worse than anything you'd see on G4. Unfortunately, I don't watch G4.

Thanks for the thoughts. I would tell you to watch the other episodes as things improve after time. Have a good one.
