IANAL, but IMHO they would have thrown any non-violent offender who was not likely to flee out of the CA jails so they could make room for real criminals.

The prison system is very overcrowded (possibly a result of the fact that the US incarcerates more people then the Soviet Union did at the height of the Gulag)

Sometimes it bugs me that people like her could just get away with anything..if i did that i'd be there.I would cry and complain and i would still be there, but when she does she gets out.What is the U.S justice system coming to?
