What program is the best bang for your buck. IE best balance between price and quality. Also, it has to be easy to use as I have no coding experience. Thanks all...

If simple and cheap is what you want....go for MS Frontpage.

If simple and cheap is what you want....go for MS Frontpage. I can't disagree more. Avoid Frontpage like the plague. The code is makes is atrocious, and it's by no means cheap. You might as well pay a few bucks more and get Dreamweaver and get a real WYSIWYG.
Seamonkey is free and not bad if you have no coding experience.

Whoa, I just checked the price on FP and was surprised. The last time I used this program (and yes, it IS awful for anyone but beginners), I bought it for $99...but now I'm thinking that it was priced like that at the University bookstore.

Anyway, as far as rookie usability, FP is so similar to MS Word that it might be a good way to get your feet wet in a WYSIWYG program.

AFAIK, Frontpage has been discontinued and has been replaced by Expression Web. It's more standards-compliant than FP and is actually not so bad as far as WYSIWIG HTML/CSS editors go.

These days I stick to Notepad++. ;)

If you want to spend some $$'s, Dreamweaver is powerful and good.

If you want something pretty good and free, try nvu www.nvu.com
