I've played and loved games like Wizardy 8 and Arx Fatalis, and I really want to find another good old-school dungeon crawling game like those!
Anyone know of any games that might be good? It's gotta work on Vista..
Etrian Odyssey spakred my interest in these kinda games again.(I wish I had a DS)
What bout the ultimate ones Diablo or Diablo 2? Nevewinter Night 1 or 2? Dungeon Siege 1 or 2? All 6 are great IMO

I'm playing Titan Quest and it's expansion Immortal Throne right now. They are seriously awesome. I haven't had this much with a game like this since Diablo II.

I'm about to start Titan Quest actually. :)
What I'm having trouble finding is the old style RPGs where you make a party, and go down into a maze like dungeon with a first-person view.

if you want old school dungeon crawling action, you HAVE to go with diablo II. I still play that game. and the dungeon siege games are done VERY well to and well worth your money.

If you want to go really old school, try the bard's tale series ( NOT the console versions), or the first 4ish might and magic ones.
There is also a wizardry for ps2 that plays a lot like the pc series.
Edit: Sorry just noticed about the vista thing. I dont know if you can run dos in a window for those yet.

Wizards & Warriors is an excellent party-based old-school dungeon crawler. Classic first-person view, turn-based - very old school, but a lot of fun.
Only two problems - it came out in 2000, so I don't know how easy it will be to find now & I don't know if it will run in Vista.

Prepare to be reamed up the ass trying to get anything to work on Vista that's passed a certain age.
It's possible, but it's not worth the hassle - if you want to play older games, just dual boot XP. I've got a number of games that didn't work on Vista, just flat out refused to work, mostly old Windows 95 / 98 games (yea, I know all the compatbility tricks too). Unfortunately, these developers aren't going to go back an add Vista support for these old games, so hopefully someone has a workaround, but the problem is not all people experience the same problems. Some games have run problem free for me, others are a pain in the ass.
Icewind Dale 1 and 2 are good dungeon crawling games set in the same style as Baldur's Gate.
As a whole, the PC moved into the Diablo style of dungeon crawlers when Diablo got popular and first person dungeon crawlers kind of died.
