This may be a universal price drop but just in case it isn't, EB has Wave Race for GC for $19.99 SOLD OUT:

Thanks. A good game if you don't already have it.

I really wish though that they included the original with it, just for fun.

Don't you think the original's a little better? purer, less gimmicky?

I gotta play this one. It's still sitting on the shelf, unopened, just like 20 other games.

I only played mine once, and I have had it for a long time. I probably should give it another chance, but I just didn't get into it as much as the N64 version.

Bought it at a CC for $7.50 back in Dec. It was barely worth it then, IMO. I just didn't find Wave Race to be a compelling game, although I can agree that its a good one.

I picked this up at CC for $4.99. I went there on tues. actually and they still had two copies. So they still might be at a nearby CC.

I got it PO for 10.99 at EB about 4 months ago, B&M. Dunno if that PO price drop is national or not, I doubt it.

I love Wave Race, but Blue Storm isn't worth $20. The controls are too touchy which leads to endless colllisions with objects because you turn too into them. Prepare for a lot of frustation with this one. The course layouts and multi-player are alright, but overall I feel this game can't touch the excellence of the N64 version. It's a true shame since Wave Race 64 is one of my favorite games.

i paid 13 dollars for it 2 months ago. It is deffinitly not as deep as the 64 version. Novelty wears off in a few hours...

You do know there was an option to make the controls more loose if you found them too sensitive don't you?

Anyway, I paid full price for this at launch and played it to death. I found it quite enjoyable although I'll agree the N64 version just had something special about it that this one lacks. One thing I don't like about Blue Storm is you can't adjust the number of laps in a race. I loved racing each race 9 laps in the original. Still a worthy purchase to me.
