Remember - you support these people with every new RIAA CD you buy.

That's pretty hard to read... all I have to say is "Stop Whining" "Stop it"

hmm, and yet Lars and that band he's in, you know, that small poor unheard of band are still loaded as they charge $100 a ticket for a concert and sell out. 8 months in advance no less.
I've spent tons more on video games and movies in the last few years myself. I have a hard time picking 3 cd's I want for free in my music club, not much new stuff interests me at all.

I think the last CD that I actually bought was Pantera: Vulgar Display of Power... when it was first released.

I bought that at a yard sale the other day for 50 cents.

But seriously, I haven't bought a CD at retail price in years. I wonder if they ever thought it might have something to do with the godawful bands that are around these days.

When you decrease quality by over 1/3 (opinion, however most agree), they should be thankful they didn't lose more money.

Wow, I thought it was just me. I used to buy two or three CDs a month. That has slowly dwindled to none in the last three years. It isn't like I've switched to downloading MP3s (legal or illegal). Very little is worth buying, maybe listening to on the radio, but not buying.

I used to buy a ton of CDs too, but now its rare. I found that as i've gotten closer to 30 my music tastes have become more refined; nowadays, most of the stuff i do buy is older or more underground.... the major label shit these days just bores me with its mediocrity.....

I download my music, except for a choice few artist whom I know when I buy there CD that Ill listen to at least half of the CD, its not my problem that an artist only has one or two good songs on a CD that is overly played on the radio. So if they want to whine about this then whatever, because everyone know that artist only make like a buck off of each Cd they sell, the majority of there money come from TV appearances, concerts, and their products if they have any that they sell. Its been proven time and time again that CD sales only contirbute like less than 10% of all music genres money to the artist. I dont care if some Music Coporation isnt making all that money, I dont pay for the Corporation I pay for the artist, and therefore if an artist honestly can say that theyve lost millions of dollars cuz of music downloading then I would probably buy more CDs but since this is not the case I will continue to download the songs I like and if I know the CD will have at least 5 good songs then I would consider buying it. Thank you Come Again

I found this link on Downhill Battle, which is a site I love. I'm not arguing that the below link is effective, but considering how many CAGs seem to have or want ipods. . .

I buy CDs alot. Especially unground music that never gets played on the radio. Usually they are from small record labels that don't have to power to promote bands well but the music is still good.
