So I call bullshit on it and it should be as gory (if not more) then the Cube version.
He's right. RE4 in the US is actually UNCENSORED compared to the Japanese release of BH4. IIRC, the Japanese version never showed any scenes involving Leon getting decapitated by zombies with chainsaws or anything.

With previews on various sites stating that the graphics are equivalent of the Gamecube version's graphics, would I be better off scoring a PS2 version and playing it on my PS3? Basically, the motion control doesn't really matter too much, and for stuff like this may seemed forced to me

do graphix matter? in terms of re4 gc version was > ps2 version

THe GC version had BETTER graphics than the PS2? If that is the case, I wonder if the Wii version will be better graphically than the PS2 version upscaled on my PS3 and in HD..

The gamecube version had better textures, lighting, greater geometry on several models, and had all their cutscenes rendered in-engine instead of as video. While the latter three are probably insignificant, lower resolution textures are still going to be lower resolution when upscaled, which, I assume, will make everything look somewhat blurry

i see..but even the japanese versions (the censored ones) just cut out most of the gore, im pretty sure headshots and "skillshots" were still ingame

In terms of which console has the best looking RE4: :wii:is slighter better than :gc: which is greater than :ps2:

Also, on a side note: :gc: version was basic (had the story & ada missions)
:ps2: version had a mercenaries campaign along with the gc offerings
:wii: version has everything the ps2 one did with the enhanced graphics (and motion control!)

Of course it looks better. I've tried both, and the GC version in 480p looks better than the PS2 version on a PS3 in 1080p.
