I've got both a DS (fat one) and a GBA sp, would the GB micro be a good buy?btw does anyone recommend the 20th anniversary famicon edition one?

...You should make the title of your thread relevant to your post.
If you need portability badly, you'd want the micro. If you sit at home and play your GBA games, then there's no need, unless you're a completionist or like the style, in which case you wouldn't have made this thread in the first place.
The Famicom edition is just a different color scheme. If you like it, buy that one. If you don't, buy a different one.

Think of it this way:
Think of the places you use your DS and your SP. Are there any times you would not want to bring your DS or SP because they're too large?
The Micro is very portable and truly pocket sized. But, unless you can think of concrete situations where you would not be able or want to take your other devices and would take the Micro, then you don't really need it.

If your SP is of the older generation, definitely pick up the micro.
I have 3 micros (black, silver, famicom) & the silver w/black faceplate is the sleekest in my opinion.
The screen on the micro is fantastic, get it now.

Damn dude! Some people think it's overkill for people like myself to have so many devices that play GBA games (SP, Phat, Lite, GB Player) to then buy a Micro, but 3 Micros?
I don't know if that's hardcore or just crazy.

Haha! Well I gave the black one to my little sister and have only played the famicom one once. For $50 I think anyone who loves GBA games should pick one up.

you guys make it sound so tempting...but most of the time portability is never an issue as i could fit the big ds in my pocket, but if its that impressive

I actually had a micro before, but portability wasn't an issue to me. I ended up selling it (to Johnnypark as a matter of fact) because I barely used it seeing as I could play my GBA games on my ds on a nice big screen. I'd say that if you have a DS and a GBASP, then hold off on a micro unless you find one for under $30.

On a related note, the right shoulder button on my Micro died.
But, sent it into Nintendo because it was still under warranty and they sent me a brand new Micro :)
