Good to hear but I won't be picking this up until it becomes rather cheap since I gave in and nabbed the import version cheap.

Yes!! While it doesn't make up for no Front Mission 5, it takes away a lot of the sting. Day 1 purchase.

well the E3 press release from square supports this so awesome... always been a semi fan of front mission. It's one of the few RPG/Strat games I'll set aside time for.

It's a strategy RPG but with giant robots. Like Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea.

Even better. The SRT games don't compare. This coming from someone who loves the SRT games. Front Mission 3 is my favorite PS1 game.

Youtube has quite a few gameplay videos for the whole series.
Aside from the huge amounts of dialog back and forth between pilots, the game play is like most srpgs.
The main difference being that you can target certain body parts to knock them out faster or lessen their threat.
Lots of customization of your wanzers - color, parts, body, weapons, etc. Much deeper then the srt series.
It's probably the best customizable srpg series on any of the consoles right now.
