1. Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory (In my opinion the absolute pinnacle of what stealth games should be.)
2. Panzer Dragoon Orta (Sega's last amazing game? Sad if I'm right.)
3. Halo (Single player and multiplayer are both a blast. Halo 2 dropped the ball pretty badly.)
4. GTA - San Andreas (A GTA with a main character who's not a psychopath? A GTA with a compelling story? I never expected to like this game but it became an addiction.)
5. Ninja Gaiden Black (The purpose of ninjas is to flip out and kill people.)

5. Halo - The game I came home with after buying the system at midnight launch is still in the top 5.
4. Mortal Kombat: Deception - Deadly Alliance was a good first step, but Deception improved gameplay a bit and threw in an shitton of bells & whistles and extras. The character development in MK is unrivaled by other fighting games.
3. Star Wars KOTOR - Not a Star Wars fan, not an RPG fan. I still loved this game. I played about halfway through the sequel before stopping...not because it was bad, but because I got a 360 in the middle of it, and the 360 took priority.
2. Halo 2 - I know people seem to prefer the first one, but not me. I preferred the sequel in every way.
1. Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks - Passable singleplayer, but the most fun co-op I've had for at least two console generations. Too bad it wasn't online.

As a side note, I'm quite shocked at how many people have Fable in their lists. All I ever see if people bashing the game for how it never lived up to their expectations and it sucked.
