me too although about half the episodes were hokie and some of the writing at times was terrible, its my favorite tv show ever. i watched seasons 1-8 consecutively last year and was waiting for season 9 to come out, then i lost my dvd hook up before i was able to rent it.

heres the good news though. announced 2006

I loved seasons 1-5, I quit watching after that. It's too bad the season sets for that show were ridiculously priced. I haven't checked lately, but last time it seemed that every reasonably priced auction on ebay was for the chinese version.

bahaha thats true man, they used to be 120, now though for the low low price of 80 dollars you can count scullys blazers, per season of course.

I just checked prices on ebay, and I'm about this close to just going with the crappy chinese versions, has anyone bought these? Is there any difference, besides the chinese characters on the front?

I got season one for $40 and season 2 for $50.

American versions, used but in good condition.

I was a big fan, but once they made the movie, the show went downhill. Season 9 is unwatchable.

The last episode was just stupid, it really killed me to stop watchin the show, but it just got so bad. My favorite episode is when Alex Trabek and Jessie Ventura are the men in black, classic stuff and the episode where the whole town are vampires.

Even though I watched all the seasons, only seasons 1-5 are the ones I loved the most. The movie was somewhat a disappointment too. If they ever decide to make another movie I hope it has more action and drama.

X-Files was an awesome show. It was a mix of suspense, mystery, and horror. The dichotomy and chemistry between the believer, Mulder and skeptical Scully made the show quite interesting. It's too bad I missed a lot of the episodes. I would get it on DVD if not for the expensive price. The movie was just average.

X files was pretty good while it was on air. However if you really like Xfiles, maybe you should check out the following:

i have only watched that joint a few times but every episode i saw was great. its odd seeing anthony michael hall not be a nerd in detention. frigging child actors

i guess you could say that some actors/actresses arent able to pull off many roles after his/her television show. the only time i ever saw a blazer look right and damn sexy was on dana scully, but if gillian anderson was in a flick, count me out. i saw a movie with her that i cant remember the name of, it was a period piece, but i thought she was horrid. mulder is probly the greatest tv cop ever but i thought that dave duchovny was dope in playing god and full frontal. not even mentioning XIII.

strange how that happens or rather not. i dont see zach morris acting nowadays. 8)

I was a fan until around season 5 I believe when a big chunk of the conspiracy that had dogged them for so long was revealed, it wasn't that it was a bad conspiracy, more like the show just really lost something after it came out in the open. It seems t.v shows go straight to hell after a movie is made.

Im a big fan, but I cant afford to buy the season box sets. I do watch it whenever its on TNT.
This past week they showed one where Mulder travels back in time to a 1939(?) cruse ship taken over by the Germans, and the two part episode where Mulder and an Area 51 worker switch bodies. I really liked all three episodes.

I have always wanted to watch them I remeber the 1st episode and thinking it was cool but I was playing baseball and never really got to see it. I will watch all the episodes one day I guess.
