Has anyone heard anything about this? I'm wondering if it will be a remake of 1 or something else. Might not be horrible if we get some wi-fi play.

I just ransacked IGN and GameSpot. No word. Then I decided to simply google the game, and I found this article from 1up.com which states we won't be seeing it on the DS.

Seems they simply don't think it would work well. I'm surprised the developer would say that. Hasn't Mortal Kombat been on every platform?

Split screen MK is kind of useless but I could def see a port MK3 from SNES with WiFi being a major seller. That game was fantastic. If it had single cart play too i'd pick it up in a heartbeat.

I don't really care for MK but I'd buy it if it had Wi-Fi just so I'd have an online fighter in my collection.

I forgot this existed until I saw it at Walmart today. Reviews I've read say the single player sucks but multiplayer is decent, and it does have wi-fi. Anyone tried it out? I'd like to hear any thoughts.

I have it, it's very good. I like it more than the 360 version, everything just seems faster to me.
It's true single player sucks, but that's mainly because the CPU gets ridiculously hard after the first few stages. Online multiplayer is a blast though.

it's the port of the arcade Ultimate MK3. the single player is ridiculously hard as before, but I hear the multiplayer is fun.

I really like how the top screen has all of the fatalities, animalities, combos, etc. That was a really nice touch.

Yeah, I really like that as well. I don't know about the rest of you, but I didn't remember any moves at all. :lol: It beats having to look up a FAQ and all that crap.

I got this and loving it so far...I played until the battery on my DS ran out. I never really played MK3 let alone ultimate...I kind of stopped at 2 back in the day. Anyway...quick question...I'm trying to pull off Sub-Zeros Fatalities with no luck...so when there is running (L button) in the fatality do I have to push foward on the directional as well? I tried it both ways but I figure if I know for sure I'll have more luck next time out.

I plan on getting the game by the end of the week.So the single player is still hard?
Well, at least one of the screens shows the moves and everything, plus there's online.I'm up for swapping FC's when I get the game.
