I am looking to get my Xbox modded and a switch installed so I can use live at the same time. I will supply the xbox. You determine the costs for parts and labor. Or if you want to trade for services here is my tradelist

Thanks

Good luck doing that. If Microsoft catches you using the chip with Live enabled, your account and your IP will be banned. Not worth it if you ask me.

I think you are looking at about $55 for the chip, solderless Xecuter Lite 2.3b Lite+. It is solderless and not difficult. I think you can do it yourself. If you want to add a Hard Drive, add about $100 making it about $150 total, if you do it yourself. Do not accidentally get on Live with your chip on or you will get banned. Also remember to turn off Auto Login from the MS dashboard so it doesnt automatically connect you with a Live enabled game.

Does that Solderless chip enable you to install a switch that will disable the chip to play live games?

The Xecuter 2.3b Lite+ solderless chip does have a switch to turn it off or on.

just so all the modders know, MS CAN check and see if you have a mod chip no matter if it is turned on or off while using Xbox Live

I would have to disagree. I have had a modded XBOX for about 7 months now with no problem. If you take all necessary precautions, turning off auto login for live enabled games and turn off the chip when using Live, chances are you will not get banned. Not guaranteed, but I think it is unlikely as of now.

I am not going by any article, just by real world experience of myself and countless others, not heresay. I say people are just paranoid. Also, if you do happen to get banned, just get a new eeprom. They dont actually ban your account so you will be good to go after getting the new eeprom

They can't do that. Modding your console is not illegal. What you do with it is illegal.
