I highly doubt this is true, but if it is then screw Nintendo. They've been putting out nothing but crap lately, and I'm honestly no longer a fan of them on any level. Nintendo now is not the same company that made Super Mario Bros 1, 2, 3, World. The good Legend of Zelda games, or any of the things that they are now famous for. That haven't innovated anything decent in a long time, and they haven't made a classic since Ocarina of Time. Wind Waker was the last Nintendo game I really enjoyed.

With the DS Lite selling about half a million units a month in the US and in Japan (and I'm guessing that it also sells about that much each month in Europe) I seriously doubt we'll see a redesign anytime soon. There's just no need for a new DS model right now.

No doubt they have plans for one, when it becomes marketable. I give it 2-3 years, or this is the plans for the sequel to the DS. Anything else would be rediculous.

I believe it. GBA->GBSP->GBSPv2->GBM

isn't the DS lite a more adult look in the first place? huh..

unless it sucks my dick for the same price as the DSlite, no care.

I can see it becoming a very minor change like the Gameboy Micro was in time for next holiday.

If it has a built in browser w/ flash that doesnt suck, i'm down. Only thing I can think of that'd make it more adult. Maybe a few PDA functions as well.

well GBASPv2 was more of a silent redesign.. Not a lot of marketing behind that one, just convenient because they had run out of screens (or their contract was up, i forget which) and the new screens were cheaper.

I do expect a Micro(Stylish) redesign to come in no more than 2 years.

Get used to it, redesigns are here to stay. Hell... even consoles are getting in on the party.
