quick question on sata 2 drive speed

quick question..


ive had a sata 2 3.0 gb maxtor drive for some time now....and i know my mobo supports it..

When i go into the sata controller ( lists hd in sata 2 3g mode) in device manager and run a speed test.. i get the following results..

theoretical limit 300.0
burst speed 127.7
sustained speed 60.4


should these numbers be higher?

Looks about right. The average rate is higher than mine anyway. Here's the HDTune benchmark for my Western Digital:
