Normally I like playing games to get all the acheivements, but this game has turned me against that.

My god, This game is almost harder on Normal than COD 2 on Veteran. I haven't even tried it on hard because of the fact that I died so much on normal.

And the achievements are insane. Get 95 perecent accuracy on every level. How in gods name can you do something like that? I may have gotten it on one level by accident.

So in closing don't buy, rent, or think about either of this game. And if you have. Please make peace with yourself for all the time you wasted on this "game".:applause:

you got to be kidding, Civil War has got to be one of the easiest FPS's on the console

You can get the 95% accuracy on all levels simply by choosing the easiest difficulty level - start a mission and take only 1 shot (make sure it hits) before pulling out your knife/sword for the rest of the mission.

Fairly easy to get @ 800 points in this sad excuse for a game. Afterwards you'll need a shower or two to get rid of the achievement whore stink - I know I did.

This game on hard nearly drove me insane. You get even get hit when taking cover behind objects.

That and two of the achievements (pisoleer and something else) are almost impossible to get if you don't get them on your first playthrough.

I actually thought it was halfway decent. If you just want achievements, you can play through it on easy in less than four hours and get about 400 easy points. Worth a rental.

QFT I played it on hard, and it was easy. It was like a shitty COD2 mod. I beat COD2 on veteran now thats hard.

Did you finish it on hard? That mode was completely broken in later levels, you literally can't see (and often not hear) enemies coming.

COD2 on Hard (or is it Veteran?) was much more difficult than Civil War on Hard. COD2 had so many controller-throwing moments. On the other hand, Civil War took me about 6 hours to get all 1,000 nerd points. To finish Hard mode, I would save like a madman. Everytime there was downtime where no one was shooting at me and I was safe, I'd save. So after each encounter, I'd heal up, save, move on to the next encounter, etc.

It was like a shitty COD2 mod.

^^ That sums it up nicely!

I thought the game was fun, and easy. I used cover most the time, easily popping out to pick enemies apart, then I rushed enemies and used the pistol & melee while they were reloading. Before I got into heavy fighting I always made sure to reload every gun down to the single shot rifle. I thought it was cool how you can shoot enemies in the back ground too.

I did have a problem shooting enemies troops sometimes when they were reloading. It's like my shots didn't register. And some stages were way to short.

It's a renter.

Now can you play as the south and just lose?

you play as both sides depending on the map, which the are different senarios and objectives for each.
