Does anyone play these games?
I am sort of interested in buying the WoW Board game because I am a collector, but would also play it.
And I also am curious to see who plays the WoW card game. It's pretty cool IMO.

I played the WOW card game for little bit. It wasn't bad. I still prefer magic. If your a fan of TCG's you should check out the Bleach TCG. Its alot of fun.

I play every CCG ever. Seriously, name a CCG and chances are I play it, and play it well.
WoW is definitely one of the better ones, even if it is a blatant cross between Vs & MagicTG. Playing 2-3 (or 4, as we tend to cheat) players against a raid deck is probably the most fun I've ever had with a CCG.
Can't comment on the board game, other than the fact that it too received an expansion pack when burning crusade was released

I prefer to stay away from everything Score, since they kill off their CCGs after about a year, Inuasha being the lone exception. I'll never forgive them for pulling the plug on Epic Battles (Mortal Kombat Vs Street Fighter Vs Tekken with an easy to learn and fun system).

as a current owner of the wow board game, here are my opinions:
- the pricetag isn't exactly low, but when you open the box, there is a LOT of stuff.. though it's all cardboard and plastic, i felt like i at least got my money's worth in the production.. still though, pretty high.
- there are a LOT of rules, but after one play-thru, the game is almost completely understandable and moves faster..
- ..BUT, even after that first play-thru, the games are HELLA long. and i rarely say hella, but i'm saying it now. you have to pretty much dedicate an evening or an afternoon or basically a large block of time to it.
- EVEN THOUGH, long games are not necessarily bad (risk, monopoly, etc.), the length of this one is considerably more noticeable because the downtime between turns is so incredibly long. if you thought it took a while for your turn to come around in risk, just wait 'til you're waiting 5 to 10 minutes for your turn in wow.
- you'll find tons of imbalance between the classes. not a big deal, but i'm getting tired of playing with people who only wanna play the damn druid. no one ever plays priest.
- for as large and as long this game is, it feels so.. restricted, with the map being only in the northern eastern kingdoms area. it feels like they should've increased the map size, and made some of the game mechanics less bogged down with unneccessary details.
- i can count how many times i've played this game on two hands. however, i let my friends borrow it and they play it like every week. my suggestion, if you haven't played the game yet, is to find someone that does have it in your area and play it at least once. chances are, they might be tired of the game already and if you like it, you can just borrow from them or buy it used for cheaper.
and as for the card game.. i like it a whole lot, and it's pretty much reminiscent of the good things about magic, with a lot of improvements. i won't say that it's better, or that magic's better.. but if you like one, then you'll more than likely like the other.
and co-sign on score being punkasses by pulling the plug on epic battles. so the street fighter license is gone, why not keep the game going with other licenses?

As I said before, it's basically Magic & Versus mashed together, easily the best of both CCGs. Although, to be honest, I'm starting to favor Vs much more.
