OK guys, this is going to sound dumb and I'll probably get lynched for it; but do I need to worry about f***ing my system up going from 3.03 OE-C to the new 3.5 FW?

I thought I'd use the PS1 gaming more than I do (which is none) and I have a DS and GB Micro so I don't need the emulation. That is to say unless it'll be worth more in it's current state to sell for the redesign.

you could always downgrade it back to 1.5 first

I appreciate what you're trying to say, but I was getting motion sickness from trying to read this .... wordsmithing. I will probably hold off upgrading it until after E3 to see if Sony announces a redesign.

Just an FYI, periods are used to end a sentence.

I found a 3.03OE-C to 1.5 downgrader package last night that took me to 1.5. After that I ran the update and am now on 3.51 and will be connected over to my PS3 tonight.

I'm sorry.

Naw, don't be sorry. My original intent was to burn my PS1 games onto the PSP; I also used a NES emulator for a few days. The thing is that I don't have the time to move the games over and I have a Gameboy Micro and DS for any Gameboy games I want to play.

I figured there's no advantage to me going homebrew and I wanted to have the PSP - PS3 connectivity. I just hope Sony gets off their asses and gets some decent games or cross-connecting functionality in the pipeline.
