I've heard that there are places that will give you some $$ for your empty ink cartridges? Is this true? Does anyone know of such a place/website?

Staples gives you $3 store credit for each ink cartridge you bring in. But they only take the official, brand name ones (like HP or Espon). They won't take rebuilt/refilled cartridges.

I think Office Max does this too.

my local staples claimed that they stopped taking Epson inks back in Sept 2006. :(

You are probably right... Epson ink carts are the easiest to find rebuilt/refilled so it wouldn't surprise me. They probably did it because too many employees unknowingly accept the wrong ink cartridges.

Staples gives you $3 store credit for each ink cartridge you bring in. I use this deal a lot. They give it in the form of a $3-off coupon. You're allowed to use a maximum of 3 coupons per transaction for a total of $9 off.
