i only play online on pc, but if i went online with my ps2 i would use the headset more. its too uncomfortable to type while sitting at the foot of my bed or on the floor, so a headset would get used more.

Why keyboard of course, kind of hard to play online games like FPS without a keyboard :lol: .

i personally have both for my PS2, though i certainly use the headset more for in-game communication. On XBLive, i've only used a headset, and i would consider it to be necessary!!

probably the headset that is why ps2 is ridiculous because some games dont require that. so u have to type doesnt that suck!?

For PC I use headset.

I just wish there was more than 1 good game that used it.

(Half-Life has very good built in headset support)
