Reason I ask is my other memory card is broken and I really don't want to spend 30 for another when I use them mainly just for NCAA rosters. I want to buy one, download the rosters whenever they come out, then return the card. Not trying to rip them off, but don't wanna be stuck with another card I'll rarely use either. I know you can't return open software, but I'd think it would be OK for memory cards. Anyone know for sure?

Sure you don't want to just try and return the broken one?

I don't know whether you're promoting or frowning upon that idea.

But its visibly cracked so thats not really an option.

Read that and you will understand why you are getting a hard time over what you want to do. You should just suck it up and buy a new one if you broke the old one. Start to take care of your shit and this won't happen.

Changed the OP title to show the real situation with the memory card, that the OP broke it. If it was an opened accessory that still worked, most stores would take it back withou any issue.

As allout1986 said, take care of your stuff and it won't matter. Case closed.
