or $15 for 2
The deal looked good, as it included 2-day shipping for Symphonia, but... slicing the UPC off the game insert? Feh - I'm cheap, but even I think that's not worth $5.
Still looking for a deal on this - thankfully I'm in no rush due to the back catalogue of games I've accrued lately.

EB used some nice misleading advertising to make me think that they would have it for $40. In their Summer 04 catalogue, there was a page of GC games with Symphonia, Rainbow Six 3, and a couple of other new Gamecube games on the top half of the page. On the bottom half were a bunch of older games like Crazy Taxi, Spiderman, etc for $20. Now, there was a coupon that said "$10 off any title featured on this page." Appearantly the "featured" titles were the $20 ones on the bottom half of the page. There was no appearant evidence that the coupon was only good for the bottom half. That really pissed me off. I still got the game. of course (it rules), but I don't think I'll be shopping at EB for a while. They also calimed to have a second pre-order bonus, a poster. Well, I never got mine!

They actually do take photocopies of the UPC's. It has worked for me many times, most recently with the Wario World/1080 Avalanche rebate.

Well, I thought that was VERY clear, really. But oh well. And since EB has totally cut back on the POX list, the 2 for $20 off was actually a great deal. Trading in copies of Haven bought for $5 (worth a quarter of trade in) for Tales was great. That and a $10 copy of Outlaw Volleyball :P And what's even better, is that they don't even give a rat's ass if it has a manual with it. Some guy said that around 80% of next gen games are avaliable on that deal. Hehehe. That means quite a few! :D I plan on getting another $20-40 off of DOA:Ultimate before I'm done with this Cheap ass deal (not to mention getting rid of the cream of the crap :P)
