Sorry, but you just aren't lucky. They don't pick people legitimately, they pick people at random to send stuff too. But, there's hope yet. People are still getting stuff from late June, early July.

about that, there's actually proof of that, a person that lives next door got banned after winning 2000 points, she wasn't using nuke or lm, she was playing 100% legit, and only two to three hours a day while on work, and after she won those 2000 points they froze her account, she couldn't win any more points at all. which i think is considered banning.

When I was getting ~1.5k/hr from flex the first few times they zeroed me, but I'd power through as fast as I can without avoiding Captchas.

Then my next few accounts (~same speed) I'd avoid captchas as much as possible by doing the 5 answer 3 second wait (on 3 you can click through another 5 however fast) and haven't been messed with since.

Don't worry about random captchas (wiggly different colored ones) but the letter-number black ones can be avoided by resting before there triggered... and I personally believe that US Americans and the Irak like such as, and such as don't have maps so countries like Africas education have accounts that get zereod for triggering too many of the black captchas.

I had a 100% legit (no bots or macros) account I made to go specifically for a Zune, and still got zeroed. It took me about 2 weeks to amass the points, and when I went to go confirm the order, my account was flagged and banned.

What really pissed me off, was the fact that I figured that I wouldn't be getting my two copies of Vista that I ordered a couple weeks before. I still had some hope, but they were dashed when the 6-8 weeks passed. I called them, they told me to email them, and when I emailed them I got no reply. It has now been a month since the estimated shipping date, so I've pretty much forgotten about them.

Imagine my surpise when I got a package today, that contained them both!!!

I've sent a complaint to the better business Buerau, you can do so yourself if you want to, Microsoft has to be stopped from Denying Legitimate players their prizes, By the way, before anyone decides to play smart and say something like "It's a game" or "It's free, you have no right to complain" actually, we all have a right to complain, Microsoft is making money of every search done by the users, making it a business, which means this DOES fall under the BBB jurasdiction,

this is what i wrote them (note i tried to act like a snoby smartass :P)

Microsoft (MSN) Live Search Club has been active for a while now, while they are active, there are numerous Reports of users That Cheated in their game arcade receiving Prizes that they earned, while Legitimate users such as myself are being Denied the Prizes earned, they Randomly pick users to award and deny the prizes to, claiming it to be "Rigorous screening process" While they are earning millions of dollars in our searches, we, the people that earn them this money by playing into their trick are being scammed out of our just compensation, this has got to stop. Another issue is that their main Prize, and Xbox360 Console is unobtainable as they do not offer enough games to gain the points required of it, i am not familiar with the law, but i am almost certain this is considered as bait and switch, or something in that area."

Well, it's about two weeks since I ordered my ultimatum against them for screwing me and so come Monday, I'm gonna actually need something up my sleeve since they aren't a member of the BBB. BTW guys on the whole fraud thing...
From what I understand walmart makes x money from all their merchandise. If you return a vista ultimate for $200 for store credit they lose 200, but gain it back when you buy back items that make walmart x amount of profit. They actually make out better when you can't match cash exactly and end up spending more than you were credited and only really lose on shelf space assuming profit margins are the same throughout the store (which im sure they arent)... not saying its alright to practice this technique but its not like your robbing Wal-mart (or comparable stores) blind unless they make a substantially less amount of money (% wise) from the vista compared to what youd buy with store credit (which I really haven't seen proven anywhere where people argue over return fraud).

Just for reference return fraud is dumb and illegal and anyone doing so should not use anything I say to their defense.

that's wierd, I use firefox usually but I tried IE because i had the same problem. IE seems to work better for me. I think if you type to quickly after the first word is entered it starts to type in the live search window, just a theory, so I always wait a little after the first word while the search loads.

Lately, they have been updating the games everyday/ twice a day. I usually play about 500-1000 points of chicktionary and flexicon. You should be able to rack up the points if you put in the time

I think it means you've done all the available flexivon puzzles. Monday I got 3 new flexicon puzzles. Now just the belfry one comes up.

i think msn are trying to pull a fast one on me. seekado only lets me play like 2-3 games a day before i get a script error. then i cant get any more points for that game. then i started a new account and all of a sudden seekado works.

also star shuffle has games that are problematic but i can skip them. dingbats has a game with an error and i cant solve a single line so it wont let me skip to the next puzzle

Yeah I got some of that on one of my computers, my desktop, but when I use my laptop it works just fine. I haven't exactly figured this one one, I don't know if you have tried erasing your history and temp files and all of that, but I've heard that can help sometimes. If not, maybe switch computers if that is an option for you.

Heh well it all depends on what MS classifies as "cheating". I believe they have had no problem with anagramssolved.com, but even still if you accumulate tickets too quickly (using their script plugin for flexicon for example) I think the person screening prize request for cheating may just flag you anyway for the sheer fact that you gained too many tickets too quickly and it's likely that it was illegitimate. And a person using anagramssolved.com could rack up tickets very quickly without botting.

Anyway though it should be much more relaxed now that any new bot program i've heard off isn't publicly released yet.

Actually I think I was mistaken about the address thing. I though it mentioned it in the terms and conditions but all it says is that it cancels any orders and tickets on the account that was decided to be "illegitimate".

So if you're on a new account I think you'll be fine, I'm sure the "set of criteria" they look at is just a statistic like average tickets per day, or total time playing games that is hidden from our view.

Avoid it like the plague. If you do it fast enough to be worth while, they flag you for cheating. If you play slow enough to "be legit" you'll never get anything worth getting in a reasonable amount of time.

I have been playing on and off since a few weeks after the site launched back in April. All of my points are legit, unless you consider filling in the last few words on Chicktionary from an anagram engine cheating, which I don't since I get through more than half on my own before trying that.

Granted, I am a quick typist and have higher than average word skills having played crosswords and other word games my whole life.

Through about 6 accounts I have accumalated a lot of stuff. I've always received my order confirmation emails, but delivery emails are choppy at best. Most of my stuff just showed up on or around the expected delivery date.

All this from a site that charges me nothing to participate and doesn't even have me pay shipping on the prizes I won. I think it is a great deal and am very happy. If you don't feel it is worth your precious time then find something else to do.

For anyone who botted, thems the breaks when you try to take a shortcut. Sorry, but life isn't always easy. And anyone who didn't cheat but got caught in the deletions, I do understand your frustration, but replaying the same puzzles does go quicker. I know that from doing them on multiple accounts.

I am now up to 22,150 tickets toward my 360. If they "sell out" before I reach that goal, then I will get something else with my tickets or give them to charity, but I certainly can't complain at this point.

To wind down on this rant, the one complaint that I think is valid.... MS should provide some kind of tech support for this site. The malfunctioning puzzles are eating away at they're act of generosity (I know they are motivated by numbers, but we're still getting the benefits.)

It is not so much fun when Flexicon answers don't fit in a poorly scripted puzzle, but at least I get partial credit for that. But this Seekadoo bug is frustrating as hell! Haven't been able to play for almost a month, and I know it is just a matter of someone deleting the one bad puzzle that has the script error. But *sigh* here I take my own advise and just chug along on the other games. Even playing Star Shuffle once in a while to break the monotony.

Finally, to those who have achieved the Xbox 360 holy grail, congratulations! I hope they really do come in just before Christmas to brighten your holidays!

nice rant jude. being that i earned my 360 legit it's encouraging to know that someone else who played without cheating got all their prizes. i'm worried about not getting mine. i even took screen shots of the process in case they try anything sneaky.

Well, folk, I'll assume I'm a bit older than the average poster here, since I am 42. So let me give you an ounce of advise that a few of you have already caught on to.

I have been playing on and off since a few weeks after the site launched back in April. All of my points are legit, unless you consider filling in the last few words on Chicktionary from an anagram engine cheating, which I don't since I get through more than half on my own before trying that.

Granted, I am a quick typist and have higher than average word skills having played crosswords and other word games my whole life.

Through about 6 accounts I have accumalated a lot of stuff. I've always received my order confirmation emails, but delivery emails are choppy at best. Most of my stuff just showed up on or around the expected delivery date.

To date I have ordered and received:

One of your points though, I'm not sure microsoft even runs this site, I'd assume its ran by the company giving away prizes or possibly a 3rd party with ms only providing there search engine.

The seekadoo problem is frustrating, but it seems other games can be just as frustrating. Flexicon begins to run very slowly on my system as I check the answers off, aswell as crosswire, it really begins to slow down after only a few matched answers. I'm no coder by any means, but it just seems the games are poorly coded and could use some freshening up

MS has scammed a lot of people including legitimate players who never boted.

Regardless of your moral opinion on the subject, if someone boted before early September and never received their prize, they never did anything illegal / wrong /against the TOS or rules. This is the reason that support gives for canceling orders - breach of contract / TOS / Rules.

This is not a moral issue that can be subjected to different possible opinions, it's a legal issue. Ms has the right to change the rules at any time, if you continue to use the service you are subjected to the new rules. It does not say previous orders and ticket accrual are subjected to the new rules /TOS.

Now that it is on Digg and there is a petition going we may be able to build enough backing to see some results. If you are a legitimate player, or if you boted before they added the section about boting / automation to the TOS (Early September), then sign the petition in the Digg article. All you have to do is leave your name, email, and a comment if you choose.

Do not post a reply stating how in your opinion it is not poor policy and breach of contract by MS because it is, fact, like something you can touch and see. In other words don't even mention the word cheating or the idea that it's wrong to cheat. Welcome to the world - any possible means to get ahead (Bill Gates knows everything about this). If you are not looking for every possible opportunity to give yourself a competitive edge, then what are you doing with your life?

Ordered a 360 controller sometime in September for 2500 points and got a response saying that it would be shipped on Oct. 22, 2007. Just got it in the mail today (10/30/07). no complaints here, actually was a bit surprised it came!

Gave up on the 360 when it was still mathematically impossible and ordered four 360 controllers back in mid-Sept, estimated ship dates on all were 11/2 or 11/3. I received one of them last night out of the blue via FedEx. Did not receive a shipping e-mail.

Hopefully at least a couple more show up, though I'm just happy to finally be able to co-op Eternal Sonata with my wife.

It took about 4 weeks of playing everyday (I have no life, but that's a different story), but I finally did it! I just hope I actually get my 360 or I may gouge my eyes out of frustration haha.
