It's not a very fast process. It took me a month and a half of constant grinding to get enough for the 360.

Hey guys... has anyone gone through the MCF Prime Suspects game? I really need some help with a couple items.

Both are in the Rialta Theater building. There's a medal item and a hat item that I need to click on, but before I can click on them I need to find the right words to type in. I've seen probably 4 questions (with different hints) for each one, and they seem to heavily point to the words "hat" and "medal", but those don't work... and neither do any synonyms I can possibly come up with.

Normally, I think it's supposed to be programmed to accept either one of the comma separated answers. But for some reason, those answers are messed up. The only way to know that you need to type those in is when you click to get the answer, that's what shows up in the search box.

BTW the 4000 ticket item, Intellimouse Explorer seems to have a serious flaw from reading the user reviews at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Intellimouse-Explorer-with-Tilt-Wheel/dp/B00013VHAS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1211135625&sr=1-2). I can't begin to count how many people have described an issue with the left click failing after a month of normal usage.

I have to assume this is for connecting a headset to a controller that's connected to a Windows PC. Nowhere on that page does it mention an Xbox 360 console. It mentions linking with a receiver (It's obviously Windows receiver otherwise they'd called it an Xbox 360 because it has one built-in) and a step that involves pressing the start button in Vista. The product page (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/digitalcommunication/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=004&active_tab=overview) doesn't even sport an Xbox 360 logo to hint at any sort of compatibility with an Xbox 360 console. To boot look at this page (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927346/en-us). It's directions on how to connect an actual Xbox 360 wireless headset to an Xbox 360 and it involves pressing the sync button on the console and the headset to link it whereas the ZX-6000 involves pressing the sync button on the controller and the headset to link it. This verifies that the page you linked above is describing how to link a controller that's connected to a PC not an Xbox.

Given all this and the lack of any user success that I could find in linking a ZX-6000 to an Xbox, I highly doubt the ZX-6000 works beyond the scope of a PC.

I've found that their times are a little off. Mine is supposed to reset at 5 pm Mountain, but doesn't actually reset until 6 pm. Try again at 7 pm and see if that works.

I had that same problem with another Microsoft mouse, the fix that I found was to open up the mouse (pull the little slick pads off the bottom and take out the screws) and pull top 2 pieces off the bottom, if you look where the mouse button contacts the button on the pcb for the mouse, it is just a little lock tab. For me, the lock tab was slightly bent the wrong way so that every so often it would not click right. I just pushed the lock tab back the right way and it works.
I imagine that eventually that lock tab will break off, and it will take some epoxy to fix it... not something the average computer user wants to or should have to do. Somehow I can't help but think it was designed to fail.

I got the games like two or three months later, I believe, but I never got a subscription card, and I didn't get all the games listed, I got Halo 3, Kameo, and PGR 3. Hope this helps. I believe I sent one email stating I had not recieved everything in the package.

Arvato seems like an undeniable step up from Incentive Logic. I sound green when I say this, but give those guys a break (from the stuff IL did to you). I wouldn't be surprised to see them actually be able to right the wrongs, as they have the basics (i.e. prize distribution) down quite well.

Now if I could figure out whether my Optical Desktop Elite is in limbo or not :wall:

I got a hypothesis as to how they ship out their stuff:

I think they don't necessarily ship the order once you place it. I think they have a quota as to how many items they have on stock. Once the last person orders and hits that quota, they take the item off the prize list and double to check to see if people cheated. After verifying the legit people, they ship all of the same prize item at about the same time.

I ordered a faceplate in Feb. and about a month later, they took it off the list. Some people's orders got canceled because they didn't have enough. Maybe their quota went a little over? And that's why they had to refund them. As for the camcorder, I've been waiting since I ordered (Mar. 24). I noticed some people are getting some of their items earlier than me. And they ordered their items like in April. So maybe they ship with batches?

I'd wait until have your new address. Or have it shipped to a friend/family member or a work address or something. Or you can get a UPS Store/Mail Boxes, Etc./Postal Annex box and have it shipped there. Anything that's not a P.O. box since Live Search Club won't ship to P.O. boxes.

At first it took me a good 15 minutes to do a game of Flexicon but gradually it became easier as I memorized the solutions to many repeated clues. With the occasional help of web sites to get out of the tough bits I got faster and faster with Flexicon to the point where I could complete a puzzle in about three minutes. Once you get used to the game and memorize the solutions you'll find that it's pathetically easy and it the long run it's a fast way to rack up many thousands of tickets.

I've been lurking around here for a few months, and finally decided to speak up. First, I wanted to say thank you to the people who gave the hints for the MCF Prime Suspects game a few pages back... I never would have figured those out, and I was getting extremely frustrated!

Second, I thought I would pass along that I ordered the Zune, the leather case, and the premium earplugs on May 5. I received the earplugs last Thursday, and the Zune and the case arrived today! I was shocked that they all arrived so quickly. Since there has been much conversation about the initial confirmation e-mails, I did receive those the day I ordered the items. I received a shipping notice for the earplugs the day before they arrived; a shipping notice today for the leather case today (but after they actually arrived); and no shipping notice at all for the Zune (well, not yet anyway). The Zune is a black "Academic edition" (?), and the case is brown. The earphones seems nice with the different sized attachments, which I am very excited about since I can never seem to get earbuds to stay in my ears.

I still have a lot of points left, so I think I'm going to try switching the mailing address and ordering another Zune as a gift for my best friend! Hopefully I'm not getting to greedy and won't anger the Live Search gods!

That Hidden Expedition Titanic game is kind of similar to MCF Prime Suspects, but harder because they penalize you (time) for wrong clicks. Using the "hint" button to find the item helps, but they take away a minute for it.

I just received my Zune today, it's the academic today. Ordered it sometimes back in april, didn't expect it this soon. And it's white and not red like stated on the website.

OK, guys, I am a little puzzled right now. I ordered the wired headset on 4/22 and received it yesterday, 5/27(no signature required). I come home today, and find a note from UPS saying missed delivery, due to lack of signature. The thing I ordered from them after the headset was my Zune on 5/15, which would seem really fast if they came today with it. I am not expecting any other packages, and I cannot read what the UPS driver wrote as who it was from. They are going to try again tomorrow, so I guess I will find out then. Anyone know how much the Zune box weighs? According to the tracking my package weighs 1.7 lbs.

Oh, and the reason why this is such a mystery is because when I ordered the Zune, I got no confirmation email, so I guess it would be possible that there would be no delivery email aswell. Hopefully I am pleasantly surprised tomorrow :)

Just ordered my 3rd item. Went with a webcam since the macbook one doesn't move & i wanna record whats behind my laptop screen not me sitting infront if it. Hopefully it comes within a month or so like my other prizes.

Ordered one controller and the earphones today. I already own a Kitchenaid (Artisan model in a different color) and give it my endorsement. I also just won an 8GB Zune from Pepsi yesterday, so I no longer felt an urge to bite on the 30GB version on LSC. I still have ~22k points left: time to build it back up. If nothing else, another Kitchenaid would make a nice gift for a relative (if it stays in stock).

as odd as this sounds, my account is having quite the opposite problem. I started playing this afternoon with under 300 points. I just quit playing for the night, and I have just over 3000 pts. I even logged out and logged back in to see if it would continue to let me play, and it would.

I'll have to check in the morning before I leave for work. At this rate though, I'll have thoser 2 360 controllers in just a few days.

Great surprise a week ago...The LifeChat headset I ordered months and months ago arrived at my door. I totally forgot about it and out of nowhere it comes...

Got the roomba i ordered mar 25th last friday. had email saying it shipped and a tracking number. was sitting in the living room with daughter and granddaughter yesterday and the buzzer rings. Was the ups guy with the zune i ordered apr 24th. no email saying it was shipped. Daughter also got a slip from ups that a signature item was attempted to be delivered when they weren't expecting anything. Maybe it was her zune also. My daughter in law ordered a zune apr 29th so i'm hoping hers came in too.

Received two white Zunes and a leather case. All ordered 4/23 on two accounts and each shipped to two addresses. Never received shipping confirmations for the Zunes. Received shipping info for the case but incorrectly said it was 1.7lbs when looking at the actual package says it's 0.09lbs. Oddly I think the Zune case confirmation was actually not for a case but for the Zune. Another odd thing was that I ordered two RED Zunes but received two WHITE Zunes instead. Not complaining because I prefer the neutral color. Also I'd like to note that the Zune case didn't have a belt clip when the prize description clearly listed that feature. The next prize I have to look forward to is an Xbox 360 Pro that I ordered when it was available for that one day 5/14 or 5/15? I don't remember. :bouncy: I'll keep you guys posted.

This is weird. I starting playing LSC today around 3 PM EST time, and got 800 out of a possible 1000 for the day's limit. However, it says the day resets at 7 PM EST time. I continued to play around 8 PM EST time, a new day, and i've made over 1400 points..In other words i've made more then 2 days worth, even though i've only been playing for 2 days.

It seems I'm able to continue getting points to, because I have yet to get a message telling me i've reached my limit. A glitch perhaps?

Oh well, I think i'll stop..I don't want to get flagged for "cheating" #-o

playing off and on 7 hours, i've made 2,2000 points.

You won't get flagged for cheating going over 1,000. They know it is a glitch with their system.

It came via FedEx with no shipping info. LSC told me I'd be getting it when they sent out the form emails to all that had ordered the 360's and it just showed up one day. Sorry I can't be more help.

It came on the 16th. I waited till that monday after and I wrote them asking about the games. They said the games would be coming and I could expect Kameo, PGR3, and Halo 3 soon and that the Xbox live card was no longer included on the bundle.

I just want Halo to come soon because with the target bonanza going on, I don't wanna pass up on getting it. I just might have to buy it tomorrow and return the LSC copy to target whenever it comes. I am still on the fence about this one.

Most people got shipping info, but I didn't. They've been shipping a lot of prizes out recently. Some have shipping info and others don't. They apparently haven't forgotten about you. Sounds like a plan with the Target idea. I may pick up another copy for our second 360.

You might want to be careful with returning the LSC copy to Target, the last couple of things I got from them have had an LSC sticker stuck to them, and i don't know how cleanly it will come off, just to give you fair warning.
