Like when they had a Zune with a Zune backpack photo, and the wrong description, but it was titled "Zune 30gb Red"? Just like that actually, and I ordered a Zune and received a Zune. Not a bag, not a controller. This is a 360, no matter what you whine/cry about, it's still a 360...
Well my friend... I'm taking your word for it just after I post this I'm ordering the 360... I hope you're right

Well it seems like LSC has gotten on better ground. Once the back logged prizes (including my 360 :D) are finished up, they'll be full steam ahead. Just hope they finish it up soon.

But IIRC, you get no receipt in the package. Unless they want to consider your automated email a receipt, there is really no proof of your purchase.

You need no proof of purchase. You call them up and tell them that you got red rings and then they'll just ask you to check all these things. Then I think they ask for the serial number and thats basically it.

I was questioning this. But the first thing I do if the 360 I got from LSC gets the RRoD, I will be emailing LSC on the matter. The second after it happens. You would think they would give you a receipt, or something to prove you got it. Maybe they will tell you to use the first conformation email you got (good thing I save all of those =P). Nobody knows as of right now.

BTW the 360 hasn't even been out three years and they need proof of purchase to determine your warranty period for a RROD? The RROD warranty should cover every Xbox out there.

I'm hoping against hope that the 360 will stay in stock for another nine days... That's all I need to get my system. I'm not even going to sell it, I just want it for my new apartment. I even opened up a second account with my boyfriend so we could earn tickets for controllers and games to go with it.
I'm in on the 360.
Are they refurbed or new ?
Not sure but I'm assuming they're all new. A refurbished unit might account for the lower ticket price though.

You're probably right about it being refurbished because of the lower ticket price.. but would a huge company as Microsoft do that? I mean why don't just give new ones.. Sony PS3 is already in a 3 billion dollar hole...why give away refurbished 360 which increases the chances of getting the red ring of death

you dont need any of that.
microsoft can determine the date "purchase" by the manufacture date. so there is no need for a receipt. you guys also might consider registering the console online.

Warranties are manufacturer provided, all normal warranties still apply. All the are saying is if it break, we aren't fixing it. Much like Wal-Mart (or most retailers) after 90 days...
Maybe it depends on the item but when my PC wireless receiver for the 360 controller broke and I called Microsoft support they told me to return it to where I bought it from. When I told them it was a prize from LSC they pretty much said I was SOL. Hopefully a big ticket item like the Zune or 360 would be different though.

I don't know. I'm hoping it will be around for another 9 days. I want to get one of these since my brother is planning on selling his 360. Well, that and I'd rather have one of my own anyways.

I have no evidence to back this up, but I think it may be due to the soon-anticipated price drop.
Oh that's right! That's also a possibility. If the console drops to $300 then the ticket cost would amount to 30k but with a bundle maybe that adds an additional 2500 tickets.

I redeemed for a 360 on Friday evening, but haven't received a shipping notification as of yet. I'll give it some time since that seems to be the norm for folks on here.
I do think that the drop in ticket price for it is in direct correlation to the price drop.

Im getting anxious about getting more points now. They removed good prizes like the camcorder, zune, and 360. Im still waiting for my 3 order confirmations redeemed last week.
i got my 360 controller 2 weeks after i redeemed. it makes Assassin's Creed and NFS: most wanted easy to play.

You most definitely dont want to stop building points, because the expensive, cool prizes are the big motivators for people to get points. Once they are gone, it kinda sucks, but they HAVE to bring something of equal or greater value back on eventually, or they will lose all of their dedicated players. So, if you keep going at it, you'll be more than ready when they do come out with the good stuff

From the terms and conditions page...
I suppose this means the Xbox 360 isn't covered by the 3 year general hardware failure warranty (RRoD) or any warranty whatsoever.
Both of my 360's from LSC have a 1 year warranty from the date they shipped them. We haven't had any problems with either of them though. *knocking on wood*

Personally, I would prefer if they continued remove the prize when they're out of stock,
this way there's not a gigantic backorder list that prevents people from ever getting the big prizes. Granted this kind of adds a quick-draw event to the game, but with your fellow CAG's watching your back, you'll know right quick when the good stuff comes back in.

I think most of us are using the anagram solvers out there, if not, then we're using anagramssolved.com for the flexicon solutions. Either way, most people who get close to 1000 tickets a day are using some help, which doesn't appear to be against the terms of service, they just seem to be worried that bots are skipping the necessary work and giving you tickets much more quickly. They get money off of searches, so if you're using something to skip the searches and gets you maxed out quickly, that's when they start zeroing accounts and such.
Has anyone here sold any prizes (ebay, amazon, etc.)? Are the non-Microsoft products stamped/identified as coming from Live Search Club, preventing from a full value sale?
I'm thinking of getting the KitchenAid mixer, since they seem to have so many and have kept it up for some time, and then selling it. Thanks.
They ship with a live search club sticker on the box. A few minutes and a little goo gone and everything should pass as new. I just sold Office 2007 on ebay for $225, it had a bunch of sticker residue on it. Although I think the guy who bought it was using an auto-bidder of some sort, it sold the minute I posted it. I also heard (on another forum (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showpost.php?p=11938650&postcount=859)) the mixer is out of stock, just as a heads up.

Hello, I received my ZX-6000 Wireless PC headset only a few weeks ago, and upon arrival, I tried to charge it, but it wouldn't. I have searched everywhere for a reason for why it might not working, or if I was doing something wrong, but this came to no avail. I was wondering if there is someway for my tickets to be refunded, or if I would send the headset somewhere to get it returned or fixed. They may have printed out the shipping label and gotten the tracking number, but if UPS hasn't picked it up, I don't think it'll be in the system. It should be tonight/tomorrow morning, though.

They haven't exactly been catering towards women, this is kind of a movement toward that. I have no problem with it if they do it right, but instead of (near) doubling the prizes, and keeping the same amount of "guy" friendly prizes, and just adding "girl" friendly prizes, they're replacing all the most popular guy friendly prizes. Don't get me wrong, guys definitely love to cook (I'm one of them, just ask my coworkers about my pumpkin roll), but as a whole girls tend to like these kinds of things (cookbooks, kitchen appliances, etc) more.

Yes it goes down when they add prizes. And when they do maintenance that is unrelated to the prizes....So it might not have anything to do with prizes.

That's because it retails for $50-60 and the 2500 tickets it was before didn't represent that very well. It's much closer to its actual value now. I grabbed 2 when it was 2500 only to have one canceled, and the other has never shown up. I need to write them about that...

I asked them last week about it, and basically said, "hey, it looks like the Xbox 360 is back in stock; are you gonna fulfill the February orders?"
I got the standard reply, including, "Unfortunately, your prize(s), due to unexpected popular demand, is/are on back order and we have no estimated shipping date."
I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt...until Monday night. If I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation by then, let's just say I'll be throwing out words like "incredulous" and "unprofessional."

1)the headset took like 5 or 4 months to get it and i forgot about it then it came one day i was like what is this...?
2)zune backpack confirmation came the next day then i got it within 4 more days so i was like cool (this was about 2 weeks ago)
3) zune headphone so i could use them with my iPod touch :D, ordered them on the 2nd of July got the automated message about confirming the tickets and no tracking yet... so just be patient sometimes its fast others it isn't. (to be honest i wouldn't mind waiting considering i sent my ipod off the apple on the 2nd to get it fixed)

Sorry I was playing with my new 360. Mine came with no games. It is xbox 360 pro with hdmi. It came with 1 controller , cat5 cable, 20 gig hardrive, headset, and Standard/HD AV cable. It looks sweet on my 24 inch westinghouse monitor.

I haven't got any of the miles that I have redeemed under this new company...I have sent them 2 e-mails so far with no response. I am very weary of redeeming my miles for anymore frequent flier miles as they don't seem to be very good at following through. Have you received any deposits lately?

My 360 should be coming today as well, however, if the UPS guy leaves it on my porch remains to be seen. It says signature required but I'm in a safe neighborhood. We'll see. But if what Shabby says is true about the no games...well that's a bummer.
The irony is that you'd think the cookbooks would be quick to ship out...yet the only confirmations I've gotten are for the 360 and controller.

I ordered my Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for windows on 6/17, received it 6/26. That's pretty damn fast turn around.

Sorry I was playing with my new 360. Mine came with no games. It is xbox 360 pro with hdmi. It came with 1 controller , cat5 cable, 20 gig hardrive, headset, and Standard/HD AV cable. It looks sweet on my 24 inch westinghouse monitor.
Ditto. Just the Xbox 360 Pro box and its contents.

Instead of redeeming the $25 gift card, you could save up an extra 115 points and get two 15 dollar gift cards. It would be an extra $5 for 115 points.

Yup, much more efficient. The way I did it is:
At 995 tickets for $15, you are redeeming 663 1/3 tickets per $10.
At 1875 tickets for $25, you are redeeming 750 tickets per $10.
Obviously the 1st way is much better. I guess if you're shy of being able to get 2 $15 cards but you have enough for 1 $25 card and you're scared they will drop them quickly again, you might go that route.
I grabbed 7 $15 cards. If I can't redeem them for cash, I'll use them as gifts or magazines for myself, but I see no reason that they would drop the ability to redeem for cash since that page is still there (http://www.magazines.com/ncom/gift_cert?cc_redeem=1).

There was a guy a page back in this thread who got quite a few GC's, check that out.

He received/redeemed the cards for cash on magazines.com on 6/10 (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4468936#post4468936). And he received the check for $285 on 7/7 (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4582246#post4582246). So you're looking at about a 6 week turnaround from ordering to cash in hand.

Sorry, one more question, do they send an actual gift card to you or do they e-mail you a code or something?If you look at the 7/7 link, and click on the show spoiler that's talking about LSC not being environmentalists you'll see he got a bunch of physical cards, and I'm guessing he did it all on one account as they all came at the same time.
