All you need to do is simply blogging (www.kingofswords.com/blog.php) about the offer, in the same way this post does. They offer many different types of swords, like medieval swords (http://www.kingofswords.com) and samurai swords (http://www.kingofswords.com), and daggers, like marquis daggers (http://www.kingofswords.com) and cavalier daggers (http://www.kingofswords.com).

That's what I figured.

I don't see why you couldn't use the same blog twice, since the point of this promotion is to build up links to increase the placement of the main site on search engines. If you were to delete your post, lets say in frustration of not being able to participate, then this would work against KoS cause they wouldn't get the "vote" from your post. They would have also lost any earlier investments they may have made in you, like the sword contest they ran last month (if you got one).

KoS should really impose a time frame on how long you must keep the post before they ship out the swords (or whatever), which they may do after enough buzz and credibility is built. Google does a monthly tally of "votes", so KoS should at least wait 1.5 months before shipping out any blunt weapons of mass injuries. This way their investment at least shows some return in page ranking and most posts about the promotions would fall into archives and most likely left alone and intact.

I got this message too, updated my post, and then resubmitted and someone got back to me saying everything was good now.

I assume that they are just prepping for shipping. Even with the swords, the shipping confirmation was sorta out of the blue.

It came in the box that says china on the side of it with a picture of the dagger on the stand. Anybody just get the stand too? I got my complete dragon dagger today. Two problems though: The dagger looks really scratched/dirty and the two parts of the stand (the giant wavy thing that fits into the bottom) don't clamp down completely.

I got the Dragon dagger. I know it was a free promotion, so I imagine they didn't send out their highest quality products, but it seems kind of... Meh. I know these pieces of cutlery aren't exactly made by a master blacksmith who's family has done it for generations, but it kind of makes me not want to business with them if I were to ever want something in the future.

Did anybody get one of the other daggers? Maybe it's just this Dragon one that's underwhelming. I suppose that's what I get for going for the one that looked "cool", although it might not have mattered since it seems many people got a Dragon anyways because they ran out of the others.

Got mine today in the mail, and wow! It was a bit smaller than I anticipated but VERY dangerous. It was the Dragon one, and the front most tip was especially sharp. Thankfully the company included a nub.

All in all a great contest.

nope, it was tightly (I mean VERY tightly) wrapped in a brown paper bag with a lot of tape. It took me a while to just open it because of all the tape, oh well they are sending me another one anyways.

While both this and the sword are cool for free, judging by the quality of both I certainly wouldn't be plunking down my money for anything from them at this time.

Yeah, I also got the Dragon one on the 30th, even though I selected #5 and #2. Oh, well. It's really pretty goofy looking, if you ask me, but whatever. It's free, and it's fun to have on the shelf.

Problem is, the pegs on the plastic bit of the stand didn't line up with the holes in the base at all. Gonna have to widen one of the holes a bit to get it to sit in there.
