when I spam N, sometimes I'll do a quick N-ENTER-N-ENTER combo, followed by another normally timed N... do some ultra quick spams, stop and wait for a response, normal spam, QUICKSPAM, it helps if you mix up your timing. I can get the Rate limit message to come up pretty easy now.

And don't worry, every time I've gotten the first xbox message, he'll ring up the xbox, then live, then something unrelated. Keep going! Another Rate limit should prompt the second message where he actually asks about the points.

And now it seems that typing "Rate limit?" is hit or miss, but when it works it works like a charm!

Ok I know I had some trouble with this thing yesterday but I finally got it last nite. Heres what I did to hopefully help you guys that are lost in the dark. First I make a new name. Add the dude to my list. I say hey. He says do you go to school I say yes then he askes if I go to HS I say yes for the subject I say history and for my 2 hobbies I say stuff and things. I say no to pet and 1 for over 17. Then after that I type in Y every second so I goes Y enter, Y enter about the time it takes you to read that. Now when it says rate limit exceeded say Y two times really fast then say another Y and he'll ask about the xbox stuff. Pretty much continue the above till he says the points thing. Hope that helps! Usually takes me about 45 sec =P

If he ignores you, then just sign-off, and the go back on, and it should work. I'd also say "delete me" as your first words to him when you get back on, and then "Yes". Then sign-off again, and sign back on and everything should be fine (you don't have to-do the delete me thing, but it might improve your chances of getting the Xbox questions).

You guys do know that you need to do this, and THEN proceed to the next "Limit" message, AND THEN it offers you the points for the toolbar download? In fact, it seemed like the "can I ask you a few questions" part was necessary to go through before I would get the offer.

Of course, even that hasn't worked for me this afternoon (I get the offer for the download with no points) - but it worked like a charm late last night (and well into this morning since I stayed up till the sun rose doing this). Yeah, I've already got my points from this promo lined up for Bomberman, Puzzle Quest, Hexic 2, and possibly 1 of those other ones from the montage. I'm trying to decide if I want the mini-golf or Mad Tracks games right now though. Pac-Man CE was worth it (all I've bought so far today). I got enough for 5 800 points games :mrgreen:
