Not sure if anyone else saw or posted this, but I though there would be a lot of RPG freaks here who'd appreciate a heads up on this one. 39.99 is after a 10 dollar instant savings, which is pretty good for an RPG that got good marks and is supposed to offer 80 hours of gameplay.

Is this in-store unadvertised? Because I don't see anything online or in the ad...

Can anyone else confirm this? If not, I'll do the legwork myself this afternoon/evening.

It's in our advertisement here in Wichita which I'm sure is the same nationally. It's on some obscure page on the left-hand side on the bottom — easy to miss. It says 49.99 minus 10.00 instant savings, making it 39.99. I really doubt this is YMMV, but it may be just B&M exclusive and not online. I would confirm this by making the trip for a purchase if I didn't already having it coming via GameFly in a couple of days.

I posted it here:

Like I said in my original post, the deal doesn't show up in the online version of the flyer (which is for the B&M stores), but it did show up in my local Central New York flyer. It might be a region-by-region deal.

I was considering going to COMP USA around Indy, since there's none in Fort Wayne thinking there was a sale, but I already bought ToS. Oh well.

I'm betting that if they're selling it for 40 bucks someone has to be selling it for 38 somewhere else... if I had the time I'd go check 34th street games.

It retails for $50 and this game is easily worth it, especially if you have siblings to play it with. One of the best games this year, and it's selling out at quite a few places. Get it while you can.

What is the address of this "34th Street Games" store of which you speak.

Thanks for the heads up. Stopped by today before work and found it unlabled. Took it to the register and lo and behold, $39.99. Appreciate it.

man they had a freaking art book if you pre-ordered it at eb or gamestop but they didn't tell anyone until the week before it was released so nobody got one. kinda sucks.

I'll be checking the CompUSA in Brighton MA to see if they have this deal. I've been looking forward to this game.

Does anyone know if this game was mass produced or is there limited supply? I'm wondering if I'll be able to find it by the time it reaches $20.

chickenhawk, both EB and GS are completely sold out. Namco did not expect such a huge response to the game and thus made a limited amount. They'll be making more, but I suspect the game will become rare in the near future.

Just beat it last night. Great game. 40 hours long too.

Seems like CompUSA is stocking 39.99 TOS with 49.99 tags on them. Rang up as 39.99 at my Brighton Compusa.

Same here. I called and they told me the price was 49.99 but I went and got it anyway and it rang up at 39.99. I live in Houston (Clear Lake area) and my store is in Webster.

I picked up a $27.88 copy of ToS thanks to Target's raincheck policy  This would've been my next choice if I didn't have the raincheck. Pretty good deal.

This isn't online is it? And can someone give a link to the target raincheck policy?

I heard 40-50 hrs. of story and another 30- 40 for side-quests, secrets, mini-games, etc. making a total of 70-90 hrs! Plus there is a new game plus.

there was a thread about this already, but seeing you post it again, that means another price confirmation! :)
