This involves Gamestop employees, but it's not because they're GS employees.

After meeting CAG neocisco for a trade (your FB is coming today, BTW), I stopped in a former Rhino just to see what they had. Lo and behold, they had some PS1, DC and N64 games in the back corner for 75% off. There wasn't a lot of good pickings, but I did decide to buy PS1-Italian Job, DC-Tee Off and DC-Atari Anniversary (for $6 total).

Well, I take them to the counter, and the two goons there take great interest in The Italian Job disk (it had no manual or artwork). They proceed to wonder if they still made PS1 games when the movie came out. I assumed they thought it was the remake game, so I stayed quiet. Then came the revelation that the cars on the disk were not in fact Minis, but something else unknown. I assured them that they were indeed Minis, but I got a little arguement about that fact. I was told that these were not the cars featured in the movie, and the disc had a manufacture date before the movie came out, so it must be a fake game.

When I told them that it was based off the original movie, they said "Wait...Italian Job is a remake?"

I went to Blockbuster a couple of months ago to pick up some of their new games since they were all 50% off (and there was still stuff to be had since employees didn't know of it.) Well, I found a copy of We Love Katamari and brought it up to the counter to purchase it, no problems, until the lady working scans it and to her amazement it scanned as $15.00 instead of $30.00! Her words were: "Wait? What? That's not right it should be $30.00, it says so on the box!" After about ten minutes she reluctantly gave it to me for that price, but insisted that I tampered with something to get it that low, and it's fraud etc.

A little while ago they opened this new game store in my area called "Game Time". A friend told me they dont have much but I went to check it out anyway. When I go in I check out the games, and suddenly marvel vs capcom 2 (ps2) and Ico (ps2) catch my eye. I ask the guy how much and he tells me that everything is $10 or you can trade 2 of your games for 1 of his. So I rush home, get 4 games that are worth nothing, go back to the store, and walk out with the goods.

I don't shop at Game stop/Eb anymore. I mostly only shop at Game Crazy since I know all the guys there and they give me nice deals, and occasionally Best Buy. The last time I was in Gamestop/EB is when I found SMT DDS1/and Nocturne there complete and the discs were in decent condition I guess. Well these two big fat employees had food and drinks up by the register (which I could care less at the time) started ringing me up. I gave him my money he just added the games to the case and started talking to the other guy when he playfuly shoved the other fat guy who of course had no fucking balance what so ever flung his arms back and knocked over his large cup of Pepsi which of course went all inside my cases with the discs in it. (Since he didn't shut the cases yet because of the other fat dude talking to him)

He had the reaction to pick the fucking cup up of a slug so almost all of the soda poured into both cases all over the discs. Now I am not a dick but these guys really pissed me off. Now I am thinking he will give me my money back because there is no way he could think I want these now. He then was like "sorry dude, we'll wipe these off and they will be good to go. I literally stood there and said "You're kidding me right?" They kinda stopped and looked at me like I was crazy. I said these discs are ruined and if they aren't I don't want to be paying close to $100 for them now. He was like well dude you already paid for them they will be fine, I said yeah before you knocked your fucking large cup of Pepsi on them which btw should be on the back of the fucking counter any how! I was shocked that he was really considering giving me two damaged discs now and even if they still worked the fuck if I want them now that soda filled the cases up/ruined the discs. After about 10 minutes of arguing back and forth, saying well i can give you store credit, and me saying I want my cash back he got mad and said here then here is your god damn money!! I grabbed it and walked off, and that was the last time I have been in a Game stop/Eb. I refuse to support them no matter how good there deals are. What fucking jack asses...
