I didn't see this buried in the official Nintendo E3 thread so i thought I'd post it here. Needless to say, it looks amazing:

Is it, or any other gameplay up anywhere else? It's loaded around 10% of the video in 10 minutes...

I just paused it and let it load for a while - it's not done, but I've watched several minutes of it and I'm more sold now than ever. Man oh man, does it look like a staggeringly awesome game. The person playing it seems to be pretty awful, though. :)

These threads need to get consolidated, but anyway here is Destructoid's impression of the game.

Visually, the game is a huge (huge!) improvement over all other Wii games in existence. The textures are impressive, the lighting effects are pretty much perfect, and the color scheme is phenomenal. Seriously, there was a sequence when you are climbing on the back of a giant bee (yeah, that is amazing as it sounds), and the fuzz on the insect is so well-rendered that it actually looks like you are playing an Xbox360 game. Trust me, I never thought I would ever say that about the graphical quality of a Wii game.

Which is what exactly? Because I fail to see how posting an impression of graphics goes against my belief that gameplay is more important than graphics. Or is your failed attack on me your way of attacking the impression that SMG looks like it has 360 visuals? Rhetorical questions because I really don't give a damn about the answers.

You're big bold sig reminds us all that graphics nor story even matter. So...why post how good the graphics are in Mario if they don't matter? The cherry on top is that's what pushes you to say GOTY :lol:
