If you're interested in the game, and wanted it on PS3, be happy.

Read their preview as well.

Optimized with PSSG rendering platform from Sony
7.1 Uncompressed audio
Supports "older Logitech PS2 wheels"
G25 support
September release
Demo coming
It's good to see more games coming with LPCM sound.

Article mentions a better framerate to boot.
Another superior multiplatform title. Devs just need to take their time.
(i don't believe it's a port as they were developed side by side)

Sweet. The superior version of DiRT, straight from the mouth of the chief game designer. I'm curious just how much the framerate will be improved.

I want the game, which is why I held out on the 360 version. I rather have it on PS3 and it looks like the wait will be worth it.

It will be interesting to see just how superior the final product is. With many PS3 games falling below the 360 versions, it would be a nice feather in Sony's cap to show that it can be done by third parties. I think after the football game embarrassment, we may see Sony pushing this more and more.

Did anyone buy this game? I finally bought it around a week ago and started playing it today. It's very well polished and definitely better than the demo. I'm a big rally racing fan and loving it. It sucks it doesn't have much of an online mode, but the racing sure is fun.

I got the game a little after hearing that Collin passed. I hear ya on the online thing. I was hoping for a least a offline-multi type thing but oh well. It's a fun game, but now that more games came out...it barely has any playtime.
