How bout this for a lucky purchase:

My g/f has really been wanting to play DKC 2 and I have always wanted to own a Super Nintendo (never have before). I went with her to the local Flea Market on Saturday in search of one. I found one and probably overpaid for it ($35 for the system w/ all hookups and 2 controllers play-tested and clean) or so I thought. I noticed that the system came with a pinball game-not too big of a deal, but a game is a game.

I was extremely excited when I got home to find out that it also came with Ogre Battle. Now, never owning an SNES, I didn't know if this game was any good, but did notice that Enix made it. I looked it up on Ebay and Amazon.com and noticed it was going for roughly 40-60 bucks used!

I thought it was a great find, so I posted it, but I also wanted to ask if this was a really good game or not.

Yeah, you definitly overpaid for the system at least... my aunt got me a SNES for a dollar from a yard sale and I eventually got another one from a friend for ten....

Great find! Orge Battle is a great game IMO, I rented it a bunch and loved it but never bought it. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

You did overpay for the system, but since it came with Ogre Battle, it works out in your favor

How did you just notice that after buying the system? was it in a box or something hidden?

You should have kept Ogre Battle...

Or track down Person of Lordly Calibre (Ogre Battle 64). You need to play one of them--it's a great series.

Yeah...it was packaged and the pinball game was the only thing showing...Ogre Battle was hidden below.

What is even funnier is that the lady selling it had games like Mario Kart for like 30. Little did she know she gave me the real gem for "free".

You should have thumped her skull and asked what she was smoking.

Went ahead and grabbed this because I saw it for about $8. I figured after shipping that was about as good as I could do.

Thanks though. Any other SNES games?
