help with Chrono Cross - how to get to Gaea's Navel?

well right now i'm gathering the relics, i already have the blue, red, yellow and black ones, just need green.

searched thru a walkthrough and it seems to get the green one you need to go to gaea's navel.

however it is still purpled out for me (purple text) can't go there.

help please... :cry:

while I can't remember since it's been a while, I'd suggest thumbing through some of the walkthroughs at GameFAQS.

I know you went through one, but sometimes another gameFAQ will answer questions other's don't really cover as well. GL :D
