Really? I could actually see this dropping further, as it was (and for many still is) the only thing worth playing on the system for a long time. And those who bought recently I'd think already picked it up, hence they'll just price-adjust.

This game is hard to judge whether it'll sell out or not. I'm gonna assume people that own the system for awhile already have it so it might not sell out as quickly.

To the person claiming this is the "only good game"...uh, there's tons of good stuff on the system, though this is probably the best or one of the best exclusives so far. I have to skip Oblivion for now though, since a version with the Expansion is coming this fall.

I called customer service at 866-216-1072 and spoke with Aman who first asked for the order number and then verified my name, e-mail address and billing address. I told him why I was calling, he quickly verified the current $39.99 price, asked if there was anything else and told me the refund approval process should take about 2-3 business days and that a confirmation e-mail would be sent. The whole process from dialing the first number until I received Aman’s e-mail took about 5-7 minutes with the actual call only taking about 3-4 minutes. I hope this helps someone.

This is one of those few titles that I think is WELL worth full price (and is a steal at this price). Insomniac Games knows how to pull replay value in their games. The singleplayer is addictive when it comes to trying to get all the skill points and beating Superhuman mode, and the multiplayer is fun as hell.
BUY THIS GAME!
Oh, and as someone else said, this is not the only game worth playing on the PS3. Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Super Stardust HD all kick ass.

I bought mine. I wanted to get it cheaper. but its not worth it to buy it used for like $35 when i can get it new for $40. So i jumped. Now my PS3 colelciton will be up to 4 games. w00t

If you ordered it with the free shipping option that's why. They're up front about the fact that they'll purposely delay sending your item if you choose super saver shipping. They do that obviously to try and persuade you to pay for a higher tier.

My only hesitation with this is I don't like Ratchet and Clank-at all.
But this looks good, and Disrupter was really good for when it came out.

Game Developer magazine a few months back did an entire feature on the glass shattering effects that insomniac uses. It's really some basic knowledge used in a very amazing way.

I was pretty annoyed when it did the same to me...I realize they want to encourage people to pay for shipping but two weeks just to get it out is insane. However, I found a trick to speed up the ship time a bit (accidentally, when I ordered my PS3 a week ago). Go to your account and view the order, then go to the page to change the shipping speed. Leave it on free super saver shipping and confirm (assuming that is what you chose in the first place). Don't know why, but it improved the ship time by about a week for me.

Unless they're adjusting things around and having Prime customers get theirs shipped first. They probably were hit with lots and lots of orders with the PS3 promotion they're running, so I'm sure they're quite busy in the operations side of the house.

I ordered one yesterday. Hasn't shipped yet. Probably will today. I kinda let this game slip off my radar but after looking at stuff like GameFAQs codes page for it, there's a ton of unlockables. Should give the game more replay value than Gears of War had, for sure.
Maybe all us newbies could join up for some multiplayer or something, instead of getting spanked by vets.
