Alright! I love the National Gurad.

I tried to join it once but they looked at me like I was stupid (probably because I was underqualified) and told me to try the National Guard.

I wonder if getting this means they get to annoy the hell out of you with calls and visits.

That's why I'm hesitant to sign up...they probably just use it to get your address and assume you are interested in joining.

I joined, gave them my cell. I can always send them to voicemail. Plus, I do know how to say no. I get a lot of advertisement solicitation at work.

I sent in a card I got in the mail once to get a free ski cap from the marines. I got calls weekly for about 3 months. Each time I told them I wasn't interested. Eventually they asked "Did you do this for the hat?" to which I replied "Darn straight."

They quit calling.

I signed up, and if you notice, you only have to give them your area code, not your whole phone number. So you wont get those annoying calls.

Try www.numbr.com or www.privatephone.com to avoid phone solicitation
