When reached by phone this morning, Taroux said the image was one of many from a general Sony campaign.

"The idea of a clown is not linked to one game," he said. "It's an explosion of fun."

Taroux said Sony didn't request the cloud be in any specific shape.

Alex Armour, a public relations specialist for Sony Computer Entertainment America, had not seen the ad in question this morning but did have an answer for Twisted Metal fans wondering if a new version of the franchise was headed their way.

"No," Armour said. "We don't have anything in the works at this time."

Stupid sony... and their ads that look like Twisted Metal!

Its a clown face. Seems like it provides the essence of Sweet Tooth.

Well its also good cause it means:

1.) More exclusives for us.
2.) A Big franchise making its move on the PS3.

I know people are looking forward to a new Twisted Metal and it will help sell some PS3's.

this may sound weird but after playing Calling All Cars, I hope Jaffe takes some mechanics from that and incorporates them into Twisted Metal.

yes and sony is kind enough that when it explodes from th e overload of fun and joyment a smiling clown will apper in the smoke =]
