I don't really do much trading in, so I'm unsure as to what stores give the best value for trade-ins. I'm mainly looking to trade in some ps2 stuff, and was hoping that some of you CAGs who do a lot of trading in could help me out.
Here are some of the things I want to trade in:
Gamecube w/ controller and memory card
Guitar Hero w/ guitar controller
NCAA Football '07 (PS2)
Phantasy Star Universe (PS2)
Half-Life 2 (Xbox)
Slim Line PS2 (maybe)
So, could I get any decent amount for this stuff? Would it be worth trading in? (I kind of live pretty far away from the majority of stores) Thanks for the help.

I'll give you more for that than any of the stores will in trade, just throwing it out there.
EB/GS gives $10 trade now for a GC with a controller.
The new NCAA is out so that's worth diddly now.
PSU is barely worth anything new now. Half-Life 2 is in the single digits as well.
the only thing woth anything is your Guitar Hero and the PS2, and even that isn't worth all that much to them.

Don't trade them in at GS. Throw them on a trade list. Guitar Hero should get some offers. If anything is left after a month, offer them to anyone that will match EBs trade values. Hell, you could even try to trade them in at eStarland.com. They'll give you better values.

yea man dont do it you could prob get $35-40 for the cube bundle seeing as GS sells it for $50, Prob like $55 - 60 for the PS2 and NCAA + P.S., GH should get you some decent cash too if you cant sell it here trade putting it on Craigslist.com I seen a lot of stuff go there

Selling them on Craigslist or Ebay will yield better cash. I never ever trade anything in at EB/GS anymore unless they've got a really good deal going on.

Wich means "Never"
Seriously, Don't trade it in, Sell it. GS doesn't give you anything for trade ins. I'm guessing that they'll give you maybe $5 for the guitar hero controller and $10 or $15 for the game. And I know they won't give you much for the PS2 or gamecube...

Ah, thanks for the advice. Certainly nice that I saved myself a LONG trip to GS/EB. I suppose I'll setup a trade list. Once again, thanks for the help.
