In a matter of a month or two, we'll be seeing that as retail price.

Could be sooner than that - the 360 and PS3 versions dropped to 39.99 new/34.99 used.

This is going to have to be a pass.
Taken from GameSpot:
The Good
* Character likenesses are spot-on
* Finishing moves are kind of fun
* Does a decent job of matching the look and feel of the movies.
The Bad
* Basic combat is dreadfully boring
* Mission objectives are uninteresting
* All the playable characters play the same way
* Frame rate is lousy
* Sixaxis controls are lame.

Yarrrrr!
the reason being?
For a game as graphically good as this, the gameplay is horrible. The mechanics are worse than many cel phone games.

At least it's some PS3 love for those clamoring for it. Too bad it's tough love... ;-)

This game is dropping crazy fast - I'm thinking it will be clearanced lower than this soon...
I actually want to get it too, but only for $20 or so.

assuming its the same as the 360 version, the swordplay is horrible. Saw my friend play the demo and you hit an enemy twice, then it kinda turns around and just waits for the deathblow. I think you could wait a few seconds and the guy would just sit there waiting. Rinse and repeat for every enemy we saw.

Funny how a magazine ad claimed it had "the most realistic sword-fighting ever in a video game."
