Just got the email, 20% entire order ONLY on Sunday 22 July, 6pm to 9pm.
Go to this thread (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92403) to see the Big Lots PC game list.
I had good use of this last time a fellow CAG posted this coupon. So may be some of you can find some cheap ass PC games in BigLots.
For me though, there is this $50 cupboard that is pretty good for storing games etc, I might have to pick up a couple more with this coupon...

Very nice, thanks.
It's also worth mentioning that Big Lots sells new Vizio televisions, so if you're in the market for one you can get one for even cheaper.

Never even heard of this place. Do they sell the PS3?

Thanks for the post, and while I love the BL, I have never understood their stupid Sunday afternoon coupons. I have to drive out on a Sunday to shop at Big Lots? What are they thinking this accomplishes? It's such a narrow window for a sale, why even run it? I reckon these are the questions only the Wizard of Big Lots (Jerry Van Dyke) can answer.

Cool thanks for the deal/coupon but 6-9PM? I don't know if it's my imagination but aren't BL in some of the worst parts of town?

Most will honor the coupon for the entire day, not just 6pm-9pm. Just call and ask before you head out.

i work there and yeah most stores honor the coupon all day. my store you don't even need the coupon we just give the 20% off discount to every customer especially in the furniture dept where the sales are bigger. my store is the number one sales store in the region of about 150 stores and the 20% off sale gives us about 4 or 5 times are normal weekend business.
about the vizio tvs you will be lucky to find one it was an ad item a few months ago and was never restocked (most stores got like 6).
we do have tons of PC games and anime though.

How have those 32" Philips LCD sets done for you? Any defective returns? I was thinking about picking one up if they got down to $500.

Is that a valid bar code on the coupon? It looks very fake with the 9999999

LOL! If you only knew how funny that comment is. Imagine a dollar store and you're there.

the majority of big lots now also have full line furniture departments. We sell Ashley sofa sets and Serta mattresses. We have bedroom sets that go for as much as $1300 so i'd say were a little different than a dollar store.
We also sell dvd players, digital cameras, tvs, printers, mp3 players, etc.

How often do they have coupons like these? This is the first time I've seen anything like this.

But as the name suggests, they only buy "lots" that the mainstream retailers or distributors cannot sell and thus offload to BigLots at ridiculously low prices...then Biglots sells it for much less than the retilers.
So the PS3 isn't sold in their stores.... yet.

Picked up Akira Kurosawa's last film "The Sea is Watching" on DVD for $1.60.... and some snacks. Not much else to report. As gothamcentral said, my store had signs up outside -- they were giving 20% off to everyone from 3-10 pm.
LOL! If you only knew how funny that comment is. Imagine a dollar store and you're there.LOL indeed! It's not that bad... I'd say it's more of a dollar store for people who don't like to admit that they shop at dollar stores (ie, me).

i wasn't responding to wheter or Big Lots carried PS3's, i responded to the comment stating that Big Lots was the same as a dollar store.

I know Big Lots isn't a dollar store, but that's the only thing I could compare it to shopping wise.

I almost forgot all about this coupon. I ended up picking up a 6" bookshelf for about $25 with the coupon.
I didn't see any of the TVs though. 20% off its already low price would have been great, but alas, a cheap bookshelf will have to suffice for now.

Picked up 10 PC games. At $4.50 / game it was hard to pass up. And who knows, perhaps one of those Adventure Company adventure games will be decent. Either way 10 games for less thant he price of 1 $50 game is impossible to beat :)

Went to a few and they had the 27" Olevia HDTV for $399. Wasn't sure we wanted a TV that small (we have a 27" SDTV that just doesn't go well with how far the couch is from the TV) so even with the coupon didn't bite on it.
Hope someone else got in on it though since it seems like a great deal.

How DARE you! Sullying the reputation of the BL? The BL only carries the cream of the crop of the bottom of the barrel. :D
