I have very reasonable shipping rates on ebay. $2.99 for CD games, $3.99 for DVD games on first class shipping.

Most warehouse stores have good deals on them if you dont midn buying 25. I think a box of 25 8.5x11 is $7. Smaller sizes being less $

I always just grab them at Wal-Mart, $2.50 for 5 of them works for me. May have to stock up with my BJ's card though if my trades or sales start to take off someday.

If you have the time, you can open a fedex account, or find someone that has one, and order a lot of their bubble mailers for free. Turn them inside and out and voila, free bubble mailers. Although you would be breaking some fedex rules.

If you do a lot of buying/trading yourself, make it a practice of preserving and re-using the bubble mailers others send you. You can strap-tape a piece of paper on the front for the new mailing information. That advice won't help you much right now, but over the long term it can save you some money.

Sam's Club, if you have one near you. Even if you don't have a membership, the extra 10% charge on a case makes it worth it.

All the Sam's Clubs around here have boxes of $25 but when you work out the price, you're paying around 78¢ a piece. Not terrible, but not great either.

Unless I'm in a bind I hate paying over 50¢ per bubble envelope.

Usually my local Dollar Tree will have packs of two bubble envelopes for $1 (duh). Unless I can fnd a great deal elsewhere, that's where I wind up.

This site (http://www.papermart.com/Templates/page.asp?PAGE=17-0-10&GOCMP=Papermart_Campaign+%231&GOMTC=Phrase&GOKEY=padded+envelopes#GO_17010) sells in cases and for what I consider a good size (8½ x 12) is 100 envelopes. With shipping, it'd be around $35 total. Haven't tried them yet, but I have been thinking about it.

Even with the overpriced shipping on eBay, I usually end up buying a case (250) of the size-0 envelopes (perfect for single DVDs or games) at about 13¢ per.

I buy cases of 25 size 0 from Sams for $5 with tax!

just shy of $.25 cents each

Fits one game (PS2/XBox are tight) with no problem.

I wait for the Walgreens 3/$1 coupon (about once a month - last week) and buy the largest size for $.36 each...

I wait for the Walgreens 3/$1 coupon (about once a month - last week) That's what I get in multiple sizes. It's limit 6 per coupon, but the cashiers usually don't care if you use the coupon for multiple transactions because the coupons are easily found at the front of the store.

The 6x9 (#0) fits PSP and DS (snug) games. The 9x12 (portfolio) fits just about everything else. They are the "USPS Shipping Standard self-sealing bubble mailers."

I'm glad I nabbed all those 12-packs for 99 cents each during that Staples sale a few months ago (just over 8 cents a mailer). It could be possible they will be doing the same thing for any "Back to School" specials.

That was a great deal -- I stocked up for a long time with that one.

I get mine at Walgreens. About every other week in their weekly ads they'll have a coupon for 3 for $1.

Yeah, best deal possible for me at least...when is the next sale coming up? It seems like its been FOREVER since.

I needed larger mailers, 8.5x12 (#2), and I was in a bit of a bind. The cheapest I could find was a box of 50 on ebay for just under $17 shipped. That's about 34 cents a piece. I'm sure if you bought more you could get them cheaper, but I won't be needing more for a while.

edit: Anybody know of any deals on bubble wrap? I will be needing some of that myself.

Doesn't really matter where the bubbles are, it still works fine. It's just a little hard to attach labels so you might use a little more tape.
