I use ePSXe for my psx emulation. Check it out at http://www.epsxe.com/

Related to emulators... Does anyone know what the best controller is? I need some recommendations because the keyboard sucks.

the keyboard has trained me well, I actually beat capcom tourny winners playing over the net in street fighter using the keyboard :). What you should do is get one of those ps2/xbox/gc whatever controller you want to use converter to usb. then you can use it on pc. I believe liksang carries them in stock. www.liksang.com btw 200

Your best bet for PS1 emulation is to check eBay for used copies of:
1) Bleem
2) Connectix Virtual Game Station (CVGS)

Bleem got sued out of existence by Sony, and Sony bought up CVGS from Connectix, but you can still find used ones on eBay.

donssword, you can download CVGS for free off the internet from many places; it's just not available from the Connectix website anymore.

On a similar note, there's a few programs you can run VGS with to increase the resolution, which are badly needed since VGS runs games with like 20 by 20 pixels.

There are also patches to allow you to play both Japanese and PAL imports. Unfortunately Tobal 2 will not play in CVGS, but THQs 4 player Chinese martial arts brawler, Shaolin, runs quite nicely.

Where can I find them?
